Yeah the LH clips were from a site the record labels used to use to hekp determine what the singles were going to be. Which means Any Other Day and I Love This Town were up for contention as singles. Songs were uploaded without artists names attached.

That's what I often wonder. Do artists have any sway in single choices? We've all heard the L.A Reid story about wanting more "hit" songs on an album. But once a band or artist present a completed album, is it purely a record company decision which song is to become a single?

Yah if they are funding the album they can request a band record more songs if they dont hear a hit. I dont think they have to but a label could shelve a release because of it. There's quite a few songs the band wanted as a single the label disagreed with.

Maybe case in point is the apparent switch from God Bless This Mess to THINFS.

Obviously we've no idea what style song God Bless This Mess is. Maybe JBJ wanted that as first single but the record company preferred THINFS. Who knows.

[QUOTE=rolo_tomachi;1205483]All those lyrics are useless unless they are accompanied by a great melody and a production that rise up.
Yes, I think the same , although the lyrics are beautiful , we have to wait until we listen to the songs.

We know this is the cover of the album since Jon says it in the Vevo making of THINFS video. I think it sucks...

Titles spoil the picture. They should have put only the picture.

If they wanted to put the title, they should have used a broader frame to better place the titles.

I agree with Rolo, the titles on the picture are very poorly done. Which is why I think it's fake.

Captain_jovi 08-30-2016 05:28 AM

I'd say fake due to the font being so close to the colour of the tree roots.
