One nice suprise is that this is the first Bon Jovi album ever where Jon doesn't play guitar on a single track. Unlike WAN where he played on pretty much every song.

It sounds good on paper, yet, he completely stood still during most of it. He might as well play the guitar then...

Well, those shows are played at small theatre stages. Hopefully he will move a bit more in an arena/stadium.

I think he will. It was almost like a KOS show last night where it's a small theatre with barely any free space to move properly.

The intro of Reunion is similar to the intro of Whole Lot Of Living and the one for Real Love is similar to the one of Bed Of Roses.
Real Love reminds me of Blind Love song

Becky 10-02-2016 10:10 PM

I listened to God Bless This Mess and Scars on This Guitar and loved them both. Scars on This Guitar is beautiful! I did listen to Living with the Ghost as well, but there was so much talking I can't tell much about it (I'm not faulting the person who recorded the show for talking--she was kind enough to record it and share it).

This album could be good, better than WAN. God Bless This Mess has something that reminds me of Life's Too Short For Days Like These. I like it. But watch out with production of the album, the result could be very good or could be a disaster.

I love Jon's voice in Come On Up To Our House

Roll 10-02-2016 11:38 PM

Having listened to the show, i quite don't get why Rollercoaster is not one of the three "singles" we've had so far. Unexplainable.

I agree. It is inexplicable.

Rollercoaster is crap.

Rollercoaster is perfect as a single. Catchy, short, I guess it would get decent airplay on the radio.

Because We Can, also was. :???:

Walleris 10-03-2016 01:16 AM

I feel like the single debate gets over-analyzed here these days. It's 2016 and a 33-year old band like Bon Jovi is not going to have a successful single, no matter what Jon or the label picks. Once you're over 50, no hits for you, sorry.

Rdkopper 10-03-2016 04:11 AM

I freaking love Reunion, the very song I thought I was going to hate... Can't stand Jon's cookie monster voice acoustic version but the rocking country vibe totally works...

So this is the only track I've watched live so far.
Completely agree. Really solid overall performance by the band.
Can't wait for this album!!

soundfire624 10-03-2016 06:43 AM

thanks alot for the snapshot of the lyrics dude..awesome!
do you have Real Love?i think that song sounds great...sometime i just hate Bon Jovi for putting aside bunch of great song which SHOULD BE on the album instead of Bonus.

Anyway..

this is just another conspiracy theory that i have in mind..Been curious why Jon throw John Shanks on the rhythm guitar at the first place, could it be for him to listen the music to analyze them..?

"is it good enough in live version?is there something that should be fix before we release the album?
is good enough already?"

is it possible ?just my thoughts..

No. The album is done and printed and already in a warehouse ready to ship. No conspiracy.

I just posted "Real Love" over on the THINFS lyrics thread.

(Thank goodness, I saw these before I posted my butchered attempt at "Living with a Ghost"!! Not EVEN close!! LOL)

Still missing "All Hail The King" too. I'll try to work on it tomorrow. Got to go to bed now!

JackieBlue 10-03-2016 07:00 AM

Thanks much for the photos, adrianoizar, and for the zippy uploads!

Thanks for all your hard word, too, RDK!
The songs sounded great. I haven't been to download the updated versions yet. Will I need to download them all over again or are the updated files separate?

I'm assuming this is sarcasm regarding WAN, but my sarcasm detector isn't working too well this morning...

From what I've seen on YT so far this morning, I'm actually hoping I DON'T win tickets to the London gig.... So freaking dull!

All yours if I do get them...
Can't get a babysitter anyway as it's a school night!!

Wow - talk about ripping off '00s pop-rock. The chorus to Rollercoaster has been pinched from Jimmy Eat World's "The Middle"
