Born Again Tommorow (really something similar to DLSecret?? ;O), Rollercoaster or The Devil's In The Temple I will play it! One I can.. ;D
Where is the leak?? ;D

As I dont want to be blamed for disappointing people...I think born again tomorrow has a certain DLSecret touch to it, to Say Its similar would probably be too much ;)

I need 4 tickets but 2 will do. If you are kind to share, you know where to find me ;)

Thanks adrianoizar for uploading the lyrics

I made a zip to have them all in one place (only the regular album, no bonus tracks)

Thank you and greetings from Spain

They definitely should've released Rollercoaster as a single instead of Knockout. Rollecoaster is extremly catchy and fun and IMO would've been a crowd pleaser.

steel_horse75 10-03-2016 02:33 PM

When is the draw for London tickets?

I think the T&C's just said a couple of days before.

Rollercoaster is the equivalent of Summertime or Beautiful World in the album. No, thanks.

jazzsta 10-03-2016 02:56 PM

Steel Horse 75 aksed bout whether David co-wrote anything. The reply is no, since we had seen at ASCAP and the other simikar agency the songwriters.

But isn't it strange how JBJ praises the "band effort", especially in New Years Day, yet neither David, nor Tico or Hugh got any credit. In fact if indeed they came up with a whole new 4/4 groove (versus the waltz on which the song was originally written), this should be enough to put their name there.

yeah Thats why I asked - He said its a band effort but the others didnt co-write anything - as per the song lyrics sheet.

steel_horse75 10-03-2016 03:12 PM

Although Im gonna like most of this album I fail to see the "if your a fan of These days and HAND youll love this" quote from JBJ.

Maybe....
But from what I've heard so far, my already waning interest is dipping to near zero.

rolo_tomachi 10-03-2016 03:56 PM

Maybe they could play the show in London, Toronto or New York the other bonus tracks:

I WILL DRIVE YOU HOME
TOUCH OF GREY
GOODNIGHT NY

Wow - talk about ripping off '00s pop-rock. The chorus to Rollercoaster has been pinched from Jimmy Eat World's "The Middle"

Interesting. I'm hearing SClub7.

It's like Reach For The Stars on speed.

I was thinking the same thing. Each city will get different bonus tracks...

No, Born Again Tomorrow is ok, but not was Dirty Little Secret. Dirty Little Secret feel better, more rock, with a better guitar solo.

And I thought watching a YouTube video recorded with someones cell phone would be super exciting... It's just like being there...

Somebody put me out of my misery, what song does Reunion sound like (the chorus mainly)? I know it's an easy one, it's on the tip of my tongue but nothing, help!

(don't want to start a "what song they ripped off" debate, I just hate it when I can remember a song)

Well duh, even I can remember that one hehe

The chorus I mean. Not a BJ song. Still on the tip of my tongue. I can even see the band/singer singing the song but I can't remember who :o

It's a really easy one, really easy

Agreed, I'm very encouraged from what what I've heard so far. Labor of love has really grown on me and knockout is as good as anything from HAND.

But as steel horse says, The quote from Jon comparing it to TD and HAND continues to mystify me.

TD was written at a time in Jons life when he was really happy (young kids, successful band, etc) but was full of moody songs... Wheras the last few years have been tough for Jon and I can't recall a time in the past 20 years when he's seemed more down. Yet the music remains generally upbeat!

Savvi 10-03-2016 05:13 PM

Hold on tight, slide a little closer
Up so high, stars are on our shoulderrrrrs

I cant stop singing this one!

I hear traces of the Beatles " I've just seen a face" mixed in with some of Green Day's graduation song "Time of your life".......... with some American Pie melody by Don McLean as well. I love this song by Bon Jovi

I'm not too bothered about the live recordings either. I'd rather listen to the studio versions first, as the quality will be so much better.

I see where you're coming from but no, that's not enough to get someone a song writing credit.

united17 10-03-2016 06:49 PM

Gotta say the We Don't Run performance is better than the Asia tour (despite my bias of seeing a few of those live) and I hope it stays on the setlist. His voice sounds a lot better - haven't watched the other songs.

He did forget the 'I'm standing my ground' line in the first chorus however.

Although, just saying that, I've caved and am listening to it now. Not thrilled with the sound (but much of that has to do with the fact that it was recorded on a mobile). But I am really looking forward to the studio versions that will be a lot fatter. Devil's In The Temple...now that's what I want from a Jovi album - and have wanted that energy for a long time. Happy Now got close, Dirty Little Secret was excellent and is one of my favourites, but DITT is something else - very fresh :)

rolo_tomachi 10-03-2016 07:20 PM

love Scars ....

i can't wait the studio version.

Loving this track. Jon's voice is in a comfortable range and it sounds nice and clean. Good job :)

Since Saturday I've listened to 'The Devils In The Temple' once and 'Reunion' once as I'm trying to keep away until the next show haha.

Reunion has really impressed me. It's a happy type of song. Love the guitar.

The Devils In The Temple is the BJ song I have needed for a long time!!

Am I the only one that I absolutely love All Hail The King...???I find this very interesting song and quite different than other songs...In a good way...That doesn't mean I don't like the new album...I love it.

Great Job!!!! Thanks!!!

Rdkopper 10-03-2016 09:51 PM

I'm trying not to completely overplay these boots but I'm totally addicted to:

Roller Coaster - I'm a sucker for these songs - Someone compared this to BWC and they are not even close... This song is miles better...

The Devils In The Temple - Just freaking rocks...

Scars On This Guitar ----- Labor Of Love ----- Reunion

I have to give Jon some serious credit... He really found himself with this album... Call it a Bon Jovi album, Call it a solo album, It's really just a mixture of both but it totally works... It's different and I think it's even better than DA... For a guy who lost his voice and his right hand man, he still manged to push forward and not only put together a great bunch of songs but he really put on a great performance the other night... That is one dude that will NEVER give up...
