Exactly. He's no longer in his prime, but he's much closer to it than Jon in all areas: singles, albums, vocals, energy. His shows are still a great ticket.

I didn't like Russian either, but I can't see him doing an album full of those.

Regarding the Born Again Tomorrow snippet.....This is the downside with hearing the album live before the studio versions. I definitely considered it the weaker of the new songs but this drum sound ain't doing it any favours.

Could Jon Shanks ruin the Record Album? I hope not. The case being the live Album being better than the recorded Album?

If you listen to the clip and the live version from the same timeframe there arent that much difference!

I mean sure, it'll link up tempo wise but there's a huge difference in Tico's drum sound. I'm not talking logistics, of course it will sound rockier live. But I just wish it had that sound on the record. Whether it's because of first impressions or not, I don't know.

I think the album is gonna leak in a few days. On the Ellen show, after the bands sing THINFS, she talked about the cd and said that everyone in the audience would receive one copy of the CD. So...

Nope, worldwide release date is set for Nov 4th. I guess many sites just received the info and are yet to update the date.

Got to say, after hearing the live tracks, I thought great. I'm now worried after the hearing another album snippet that yet again they have killed some great songs. I'm remember loving what the water made me live, even more with extended outro on tour but can't stand the album version. Maybe they should quickly record and release the album live instead!!

I think refers to when the album is released on November 4th, the public who attended would receive a copy, but not before.


The problem is that some songs are not recorded with the band together, and it shows.

Same here. I still despise the album cut of Water to this day. I'm hoping for the tidal stream to be of nice quality (especially audio wise), so that this can make up for a poorly produced album if needed.

Ellen said at the that the album had got "great reviews". Does anybody know which reviews she is refering to? :)
