very great backing vocals from Everett in Real Love.

symbeline 10-10-2016 11:38 PM

I'm not sold on this one.

I'm with rolo it's Blind Love slightly faster

I get the feeling the vocals on the album will make me like it better

I'm loving the backing vocals on all songs. I know some people complain when Jon avoids singing great chunks of the choruses but the band sound so much better now

rolo_tomachi 10-10-2016 11:41 PM

This House again?

symbeline 10-10-2016 11:42 PM

Jon got emotional and had to stop All Hail the King

Captain_jovi 10-10-2016 11:43 PM

I haven't heard much that separates Blind Love to Real Love. I'm hoping I like the final version but it's just....the same damn song.

symbeline 10-10-2016 11:45 PM

Why isn't All Hail The King in the album instead of Reunion?

Next one WDR, Jon is messing up the lyrics lol

Reunion is your response to continue with the band and its new members, and most importantly, justify the absence the others missing members and who do not follow the road.

jon-flp 10-10-2016 11:49 PM

good voice from Jon on WDR...comparing this to the 2015 versions...is much better.

VinceBJ 10-10-2016 11:49 PM

haha just like the first time he forgot I'm standing my ground.

Sounds good though!!

symbeline 10-10-2016 11:50 PM

Please please please make WDR a staple live

Everybody at the show agrees with me :D

End of the main show. Come on up To our House now

Will there be more?

jon-flp 10-10-2016 11:51 PM

Very great version of WDR!!

WDR was the Highlight to me so far.. Just love it!
They have to play it at the Tour! To me it would be the perfect opener

Sadly it won't since it's not a regular track. I hope WDR and That's What The Water Made Me are on rotation this tour. Please ditch the LH tracks for a damn tour and no more BWC! (oh and Follow)

Therefore, should have more rock songs on the album.

symbeline 10-11-2016 12:01 AM

They came back for more... the rest of the bonus tracks?

Oh no, who says, I really love the album version but I'm sick of the live one

It's not alright!! Jon let it go for one damn show

I'm thinking Blind Love was like the demo they just flung on Burning Bridges...Real Love is what came out of it. With better lyrics.

rolo_tomachi 10-11-2016 12:04 AM

"Who Says" is so out of place... especially in a European show.

symbeline 10-11-2016 12:06 AM

Question
Do you think Jon avoids Prayer/Wanted in that kind of intimate shows because it would showcase Richie's absence whereas it's not as noticeable in a big show?

symbeline 10-11-2016 12:08 AM

You all know which one comes now.

End of the show already?

No, I just don't think he's confident enough in his voice to sing the classics right now. Or most of the back catalog in general. Whereas Who Says is -somewhat- doable for him, and Bad Medicine is such a sloppy song nobody cares.

I was thinking more a semi-acoustic version of both. Richie's vocals have been vital for Jon in many songs over the years so it makes sense Jon would avoid the most obvious. I guess Who Says is their only recognizable easy song left *sigh*

The problem with Bad Medicine is how out of breath he usually sounds. I dunno right now, I'm sick of listening to it, I turned it off ;)

It's funny to see how many people were leaving the stream during the two last (people watching I mean)

nikos greece 10-11-2016 12:15 AM

bad medicine...who says doesn't fit these shows at all...
hoping for a miracle on nyc and a noticable improvement on vocals,
I like almost all the new songs and some lyrics are really strong

Stream cut off for me which is the only reason I left during Bad Medicine so that means nothing. Was rather enjoying it.

Six-String 10-11-2016 12:18 AM

I think THINFS, BAT and especially WDR were really good!

Nothing against the songs, but the overuse. Last show I saw, Bad Medicine was a piss break. The song itself is not bad but they should give it a break every now and then.

Although it's true there's almost no other songs that are both well known and easy

Thierry 10-11-2016 12:25 AM

New album was great live. Vocals on bad medicine where pure horror.

I didn't catch Knockout and Labor of Love, were they good?

It's one of their biggest songs...fully expect them to play it.

Who Says though? Blah...lol

rolo_tomachi 10-11-2016 12:29 AM

waiting for the album to see how God Bless sounds, it sounds great live.

crashed 10-11-2016 12:37 AM

The whole album seems very, very promising...not a song I don't like but will wait for the studio versions to be sure. This House seems to be the weakest for me.

crobb991 10-11-2016 12:43 AM

Anyone record any of this one... does it sound better than the last one...

Not in my case.

some great songs; THINFS (it has grown on me), Labor Of Love, Born Again Tomorrow, Devils in the Temple, Scars on this Guitar, God Bless This Mess.

ordinary songs; Knockout, All Hail the King, Come On Up To Our House.

don't like this songs; Rollercoaster, Living with The Ghost, New Year Days, Reunion, Real Love.

Definitely not. Not doing Prayer would have more to do with the state of his voice, that key change is murder. I give them major props for omitting those two on this run.

They should have played every bonus tracks, which would have been an impressive act.

They're playing 15 songs people haven't heard before, is that not impressive enough? They didn't even have to do ANY bonus tracks.

Gutted I didn't win tickets for tonight. I'm actually holding off listening to recordings from these shows as I want to hear studio versions first. Glad to hear WDR was played and sounded good. It's a great tune and one I hope they put into heavy rotation on tour. It'd make for a great opener.
