Yeah it was played in order of the album, since it is one of the bonus tracks, just before We Don't Run and Come On Up To Our House.

Videos for each song posted over at setlist fm. http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/bon-jo...-3bfd00a0.html

I thought Come On Up to Our House was the last track of the album

It is... that's probably why Jon closed the show with it... before he did who says and bad med... did you think Bad Medicine was the last track on the album???

man.. he can't even sing Bad Medicine anymore ? Thankfully, Phil and Hugh and David and Shanks provide amazing backing vocals, otherwise it'd be ruined. Jon manages to sound out of place when he tries to cut through the choir... what a shame.

TheseDaysEra 10-12-2016 03:29 AM

Where did THIS go ? geez. life can be a bitch sometimes lol.

GabrielC 10-12-2016 08:04 AM

Am I hearing wrong, or are they playing the songs faster than they were in the other show, in Red Bank?

justanotherGuy 10-12-2016 10:07 AM

Jon's voice is bad in most of the songs, but gotta say this version of Who says is the best I've heard lately, and theyv'e done this one a lot. Much better than on the Target show for example. I think the next tour is gonna depend on the songs choice for him.

I streamed virtually the whole show via my facebook page. Don't know if the audio I got is any use to you?

Haven't said much about this show yet due to working.

Thoroughly enjoyed this show from start to finish. Loved how the venue looked outside with the Bon Jovi signs and the taxi that was parked outside. Little things like that add to the excitement for me. I am quite sad...

Going inside and buying a t-shirt also adds some fun to the event as I love doing that at a gig.

Seats were fantastic. I was row D in the royal area. Closest I have been to the band even though I was high up, the view was absolutely superb and I felt like I was only a few yards from the band.

The show itself was brilliant, in my opinion. I loved the stories before the songs. It's always interesting to hear how songs came to life.

You can clearly still see that Jon is quite low yet so high. If that makes any sense? He is still hurting but he is starting to become free with everything. He looks like he has his passion back in terms of writing and performing and as much as these last few years have hurt him, it's kind of what he needed. He needed something drastic to change to keep us interested and to get us excited. When the 2013 tour finished, I had no intention of being excited for a while about the band. I loved 'Burning Bridges' but I still didn't have that excitement in me like I usually do when the band release something new and do some shows. I couldn't be more excited right now, though.

The new album sounds like an album I will love. The only worry I have is the production when we hear it. Live, they all sound so promising and even the 'pop rock' ones sound rocky. It'll be interesting to hear how they sound when we get our hands on the album...

JBJ sounded good enough. Still extremely weak in a lot of areas and you can see the struggle in some songs but I do think he is improving slowly. I can't help but feel that the end part of 'Devils In The Temple' is going to sound superb on the album and will have a bit of aggression to it but JBJ can't do that live.

'Devils In The Temple', 'Scars On This Guitar', 'New Years Day' and 'Reunion' were personal highlights for me but 'We Don't Run' also blew me away. I will be absolutely gutted if that song doesn't become a staple on the new tour. I have always loved the song and I'm made up that I got to hear it live, at least once.

'This House Is Not For Sale' comes across really good live. Better than I thought, actually. I loved the extended outro too. It's always better to have something like that rather than the outro he tried to do with 'Because We Can' when nobody sung it back.

'Bad Medicine' was the weakest JBJ sounded. 'Your kiss is the drug' line sounds so bad. The song really got the crowd going, though, as always.

Overall, possibly the best show I have been too. Simply because it was different. I loved seeing the band in such an intimate setting and hearing so many new songs. I felt lucky to see the band do something like this. It was well and truly worth the hassle of trains and hotels etc...

Yep, can already confirm that it's got a nice sound to it and quite enjoyed the new songs from a proper recording :)

Kova 10-12-2016 03:33 PM

Devils In The Temple is my favorite track from the album so far.

It has that rocky, dark sound, I just love it.

And boy look at Phil, he really seems to be enjoying himself on that one! :)

Metro review:

Quote:

After a three year hiatus, Bon Jovi, fronted by the ever smooth JB, stylish in black, launched into their new single This House Is Not For Sale at the London Palladium to the sheer delight of a 2,200-strong crowd.
The intimate audience, in a venue, as JB quipped in his opening gambit, traditionally reserved for Bruce Forsyth on a Sunday night, was largely made up of ardent fans who’d won tickets in a lottery – and it showed.
Given the new album – with the same name as the title track – is not out until November 4, it was, as Jon said, a big ask to expect the crowd to listen to 15 tracks of a new album, in order.
But, not only did they do that, they met each one as if it were an old classic.

The fact the majority of the room already knew every lyric to THINFS is a pretty good indicator that this track will raise the roof on the band’s upcoming 2017 stadium tour.
The rest, they may not have known word perfectly, but they were on their feet from beginning to end.

This was not your average gig, but then, it was not touted as such.
The ‘friends and family’ show, as JB called it, was sold as a ‘live listening party’ to showcase This House Is Not For Sale.
Anyone expecting hit after hit with a Livin’ On A Prayer encore would have done better to wait for the tour, because this was never meant to be that.

In reality though, while it was advertised as a live listening party, it was pretty much an audience with Bon Jovi in the most traditional sense.
JB took to the mic between songs with passionate speeches and honest confessionals.
Some might call it indulgent, but for the fans it was an absolute treat.

The album, which the band played in its entirety, in order, will unequivocally please Bon Jovi fans.
It’s upbeat, has huge catchy choruses (well, you’d think he’d know how to write a tune after 35 years doing it), and has a few classic ballads – everything you’d expect to hear from a Bon Jovi album.
But one thing sets it apart from past albums, and that’s the honesty in the lyrics. In this album, Bon Jovi opens himself up, bares his soul.
As he explained from the stage, whenever he had written emotional lyrics in the past, he would deny they were about him. ‘No, that’s Billy the Kid,’ he’d say, of the emotion in Blaze Of Glory, for instance.

When he was younger, he was out to prove himself and didn’t want to let his sensitive side show, he explained. Now though, he has ‘something to say and nothing to prove’.
As he wove the narrative into the playlist, he revealed with raw honesty the stories behind the songs.
The timbre of his voice conveyed new vulnerability, illustrated by the moment he had to restart the song All Hail The King because he got too ‘choked up’, after speaking of the troubles he’d experienced for the last three years.
The ‘troubles’ refer mainly to a huge bust up with Bon Jovi’s long term record company, Mercury (a dispute now resolved), the departure at the same time of long-time guitarist, friend, founding member and co-writer, Richie Sambora, and problems with his voice.
With that behind them though, the band seem relaxed as they roll through the first few songs off the new album.
New guitarist Phil X treats the audience to an extended solo in THINFS, showing he is more than up to the task of filling Sambora’s shoes, while Tico is still the ever reliant man at the back, providing a thundering foundation throughout.

At first listen ‘on tape’, THINFS has notes of Bruce Springsteen, while production-wise the album has a Killers Sam’s Town feel to it. It’s less full-on rock, and at times has an indie/dance vibe, especially with Tico’s kick drum pulsating through most of the songs.
Reunion has a Mumford & Sons feel, with the intro guitar sounding banjo-esque and the chorus being similar, melody-wise, to Mumford’s hit I Will Wait.
Live though, you don’t hear the banjo style guitar or the comparison to Mumford at all – just pure, unadulterated rock, which makes it a surefire banger.
Rollercoaster, another hit-in-waiting, shows off the upbeat, anthemic style Bon Jovi fans love.
The album ends with a track which, JB explains, would have been a single from the Burning Bridges album, had it not been for the arguments with Mercury.
It now will feature as an addition on the deluxe issue of THINFS – and it’s a damn good job too. This track is another certified banger. A quintessential classic with a monstrous chorus to get any stadium crowd bouncing.
It is a polished production, with John Shanks (also referred to by Jon as the band’s shrink) at the helm for his fifth album with the band, and touring with them for the first time for this album as guitarist alongside Phil X.
What I’d like to see on their next album is less of the polished and more of the rough and ready – the way they used to write their songs and the sound and attitude they have at their gigs.
Talking about New Year’s Day, Jon says the newborn baby crying represents him in the studio as the song took shape, ‘as it used to back in the old days’, when the band would just riff it and a song would happen naturally rather than being pieced together in a studio.

As Tico pounded the kick drum saying it needed a different rhythm, David joined in on keys and Jon, as he put it, started sobbing.
It was this approach that got them where they are today and, if they could capture that attitude on a studio album, it would have all the energy of their live performance.
Jon claimed, midway through the night, that in 2014 he didn’t pick up his guitar at all. Instead, he just looked at it, imagining the the guitar giving him the middle finger.
Naturally, he gave his guitar the middle finger back.
Maybe it was the break that helped reignite the spark he needed to create an album that will likely be a real favourite among their legions of fans.
After a quick exit, the band return for a two-song encore. Who Says You Can’t Go Home excites the crowd to a new volume and, before they catch their breath after the last note, David Bryan launches into the opening riff of Bad Medicine.
And the place.
Goes.
Wild.
Hands and arms in the air; screams.
And rightly so.
It is the perfect reminder of why Bon Jovi have sold 130 million albums and packed out stadiums for three decades.
And, as JB said in his last emotional monologue, they’ll continue to do so for another three.

Some very good reviews from both journalists and board members. It's nice to see. I'm happy for all those who got to see it in person and grateful for those who recorded it and shared it.

I thought Jon sounded ok - even good actually, on some tracks. The band sound really tight. And I'm personally ok with Shanks being a second guitarist.

The album comes across well live. I'm excited but a little nervous for the studio version.

Yes! I'm really into a band called Biters at the moment for this reason, if you listen to their album Electric Blood that's perfect, not at all over-produced and I love that.

I'm really excited by all the great reviews of the shows and songs. I've listened to a couple, but I'm still trying to hold out for the album.

mitchdaddy 10-12-2016 08:33 PM

My only gripe about the whole night was how many seats were empty in the upper circle. You would think that everyone of those seats had a ticket allocated to it, it's disappointing that the people who didn't come chose not to give up their tickets to fans who were desperate to go

You expect the odd few to be empty at a free gig as there'd naturally be some won by people who could take it or leave it. I did find weird there seemed to be a whole row empty at the top though.

Yeah, mine had disappeared too. You need to create an account then email the moderators asking for them to upgrade your account from guest to power user. There's a link on the site. How long it takes I don't know.

Shame as I had great stats on my account with a decent ratio but hadn't needed to download anything for ages so lost it all

mitchdaddy 10-12-2016 11:12 PM

I think if you have a dime dozen account that says "guest" by the username then you can't download. So that's applicable to new accounts or accounts that haven't been used for a long time. Guess need someone to upload it elsewhere (with Thierrys permission)

Denmad 10-12-2016 11:33 PM

Guys, It was one hell of rock and roll show!! So amazing on every level. Venue's acoustics is great. View from stalls was just perfect... Guitars were loud as it's supposed to be. JBJ has had a vocal problems only during the encore part. Can't wait for the 2017 tour! They sounds much better than in mid 2013.

I never got dime to work, I think I even emailed for support but they never replied

I'm on jamtothis but I think many uploaders don't like that site. If anyone is kind enough to explain how I make dime work, I have several things here to share (don't have full access to all my things until December, I've moved for a few months) so I think I could be granted access to download

Thanks

I'm psyched to read the huge amount of positive reviews! I listened to the livestreams while doing other things so right now it's a blur, but I've finally started to believe I could like the album, at least as much as BB (babysteps...). I'm so proud to be a fan, as silly as it may sound, I'm proud to be part of this.
It also makes me really happy to see the whole band happy and so *connected*. I was paying attention to Jon's voice because I could picture all the people going on and on about how weak he sounds (he does, to be fair) but the moment I concentrated on the music, I only heard a band that plays for fun, that sounds amazing live and that sells the songs so well that you don't even want to stop to dissect what works and what doesn't work, because it simply works. I know it could be different when the real tour starts and Jon's voice drags the older songs, but I hope they keep the backing vocals as loud as the lead because it makes a huge difference in the choruses. The songs really come alive this time.

So Bad Medicine... is it really so difficult to sing compared to WDR o Knockout? To me the new ones are more energetic hence in theory more difficult to sing, but he's doing pretty well. Do you think he's so used to sing Bad Medicine that should "re-learn" to fit his actual technique?

It's a shame the timing is not ideal right now, my FB&Twitter feeds are inundated with pissed off fans re tickets. Nobody is sharing the positive feedback and I don't know if you've seen that BJ Updates is closing, they were almost the only ones who posted positive things about the band.
