Jon's getting sued

Hi, i read in the paper this morning that some woman is suing jon for £300, becuase she made a laundry trip to his house and he never paid he for it! And we all thought he was a good boy!!!

Yeah, I just read that over on Backstage. Some housekeeper thinks he should reimburse her for her commute to work. I'm sorry, but in the real world, you don't get paid to drive TO work. You get paid for what you do after you get there. I get a travel check for my driving around ON the job, but NOT for my commute.

Yes you do. Many jobs offer this.

Which ones? Certainly none in the real world. My mother can get reimbursed from the state for commuting because she gets sent to various areas of the state for clients, but not for her travel to & from work. How you get to your workplace is up to you, and it is not a problem of the employer.

Teachers in many schools in the UK get petrol money for the commute to work. They did in the schools I worked in.
