Up to Knockout now. Stream is working just fine for me. The band is sounding great. Knockout sounds way better live than the studio version.

I really liked Jon's speech then about Tommy & Gina and Frankie. Nicely said.

Living with a Ghost is definitely one of my favs from the album. Was a good performance.

And was good to see Jon tackle the final chorus of THINFS. He is sounding thin but better.

Really hope I get to listen to the rest of the stream before my boss walks in :p

nikos greece 10-21-2016 03:38 AM

jon seems to try and sing more lines than in previous shows.

He is really trying though. He has had some issues with some lines of knockout and the begin of labor of love was very iffy. But what the hell, the stream is perfect quality.

Labor of Love is such a gorgeous song. Great vocals, Jon was really into it which makes me hope they'll keep it.

Oi big mess up at the end of labor of love. Phil and John played the outro to early.

Savvi 10-21-2016 03:45 AM

I'm impressed with the stream. It is like a full on DVD production with different cameras and and amazing quality. Well done tidal and thanks for my free 90 day trial haha.

My ears must be pretty bad, but the performance was quite bad. Lots of bummed and flat notes.

symbeline 10-21-2016 03:46 AM

Jon needs some raver sticks here hahaha

He sounds bad on my headset the last 3 songs. And what are those faces when he tries to reach the high notes.

Savvi 10-21-2016 03:50 AM

He sounded a off on Labor of Love, but great on Born Again Tomorrow. Such a great song live.

How we doin' so far, ok?!

nikos greece 10-21-2016 03:51 AM

unfortunately i also think he sounds too weak

Thierry 10-21-2016 03:52 AM

The high notes on devils in the temple in the end are going to be painful.

DryCounty 10-21-2016 03:55 AM

Interesting that Phil pretty much only play chords in all songs and John Shanks play all the melodies/figures/riffs.

Other than that, Rollercoaster is amazing. Probably my favorite of the new album.

OK what are we comparing to? I'm going as far as 2015 so I stand by my claim [emoji16]

My ears have very low standards when it comes to BJ. I accepted it long ago and now I can enjoy the shows. I'd rather hear a bum note but have a singer that sells the song than horribly autotuned vocals or perfect performances with zero emotion

Love Rollercoaster. Dreading the album version

I love that song and I heard what you did and I'm not listening through head phones just my phone speaker.

Well fair enough. I have pretty high standards lol, he isn't the singer he used to be. Hopefully he improves.

nikos greece 10-21-2016 04:01 AM

is it me or jon sounds better now?

I wonder if he really has a vocal coach, he seems to try different things to get the notes out in every song and even during the same song [emoji55]

I'm sure the crystal clear audio is going to magnify every vocal flaw. I'm enjoying the stream.

True. His voice is declining, but what the hell let's enjoy it. He is no Myles Kennedy and never has been.

nikos greece 10-21-2016 04:11 AM

i lost phil x s joke, anyone plz?

Jon said he met him in the 80's. Phil corrected him that it was the 90's.

Well said my dude!!

DryCounty 10-21-2016 04:17 AM

Nice that we got a confirmation that John Shanks will join Bon Jovi for the full tour in 2017. Really great news!

Phil's tone is absolutely stunning.

Scars is where I really miss his "old" voice. I have great hopes for the album version though

Didn't Shanks play acoustic guitar on Reunion on previous gigs? Or am I wrong?

nikos greece 10-21-2016 04:27 AM

he did yes

symbeline 10-21-2016 04:29 AM

I wonder if Jon has some warm liquor in that mug. I suddenly crave some Irish coffee

Bradley Everett really nails the harmony in Real Love. There's no doubt he's hired more because of his vocal skills than his percussions.
