I don't like BAT either but I can imagine it doing well on radio.

MAYBE if it was the lead single (and it's still a big question mark given the band's age). But as the third (or whatever) single? No chance.

You never know, they could be successful in some station, already passed with their third single from HAND, Who Says You Cant Go Home was a success in the Country radios.

You may never know, but I do.

They were 11 years younger and Jon looked 20 younger older and had much more powerful voice.

There is pretty much zero precedent for a rock band of their age to have a hit song. Especially, one that never had the critical/media backing. The closest example would be Aerosmith with I Don't Want To Miss A Thing, but even so, Tyler was a few years younger than Jon, did not look gray and miserable and, most importantly, the song was a written by a hitmaker Dianna Warren with Celine Dion in mind, for a massive blockbuster movie. Not a third single of a commercially underwhelming album.

No matter what they do, they will NEVER have another hit song. At best what they could hope for is a moderately successful lead single (ala Memory), but at this point I'd say even that is unlikely.

It's very possible that you're right, but even so, if I would have to choose a single from the whole album, it would be Born Again Tomorrow. The rest will simply not work on the radio. You can do the test with your friends and family, Born Again Tomorrow stands out above the rest.

That I agree with. BAT perhaps had a 0.5% higher chance than the title track. But if we're doing this debate, I will always believe they blew it when they We Dont Run on BB. This should have been the single.

Regarding singles, whatever the record company think sounds the most 'Bon Jovi' or sounds like the top 40 is usually the choice. Born Again Tomorrow I suppose falls into those categories
