"From this list, Bon Jovi’s latest album This House Is Not For Sale was the only one that actually made it to the top spot on the Billboard 200. While it may have been a No. 1 record for a single frame back in November, the album now owns the distinction of being the title with the largest drop off from the peak of the albums tally. The week after it started in the lead position,*House*plummeted out of the top 40 entirely, settling at No. 43 in week two. That’s the largest descent from No. 1 ever recorded, and it doesn’t get much better after that. Those ended up being the only two weeks it would remain within the top 100 at all. The album has also now spun off eight singles (with a ninth on its way), but not one of them has charted on the Hot 100, even for a week. So in other words, hardcore fans bought it when it was first released and they have attracted next to no new fans with their new material. |

At first I thought it was a good idea to have a video to every song on the album but now that I´ve seen most of them I don´t really see the point anymore.
The band performances esp. Jon look all the same. Hand up, hand down, hand up, hand down,... Some of the stories are nice but really the videos are pretty much all the same just in different locations. |
I like the BAT and NYD videos the most.

Question my Jovi compadres: Does anybody find the guitar riff in the beginning, middle, and end of NYD simply fantastic? |
No I hate it, such a blatant Killers rip off sound...

If it was just one song I could live with it...but New Years Days, God Bless This Mess, Living With The Ghost...all rip off the horrible Killers guitar sound....I could go on, there's more. I don't hear any other artists blatantly ripping off another bands guitar sound like this... they either seem to want the guitars to sound like The Killers or U2. It's been evident on both The Circle and WAN too and it's getting old now... It's such a shame after Burning Bridges, which had a great guitar sound throughout... |

For the most part, I enjoy the production and guitar work on THINFS. I could make the argument that the guitar sound on Bounce was a ripoff or ode to Creed and that was with Richie in the pre-Shanks era. |
