“With the release of our new album, we decided to solicit several directors to do videos for every song on the album,” says Bon Jovi. “Casey Stein, our director, was assigned two songs: ‘Living with the Ghost,’ and ‘Reunion,’ which I wrote for my recent convocation speech at Rutgers. I explained to Casey and his producer that I was given an honorary doctorate by Rutgers, and I wanted to do something special with my speech – so I wrote the class a song.” - from http://www.sjmagazine.net/january-2017/jon-bon-jovi

I must admit, I laughed out loud when I watched the video back this morning looking out for that.

Must have missed that. At what point?

Couldn't spot it either!

Does the booklet list any credits? I bought it digital so don't have access to it. Wikipedia says "John Shanks – lead guitar, backing vocals (track 2, 4, 6–11, 15–18)" but I wanted to confirm if it says those are the ones he sang backing vocals on.

They keep it as vague as possible....

THANKS!

Oh! Obie is a part of BJM now. I didn't know that. Nothing else too surprising here. I guess the wiki info was a bunch of bunk, I didn't think Labor of Love even HAD backing vocals.

I really like this video - and can't help but catch when the lyrics go to "..Down here there they got your back, and good men stood at your side...." the shots go to David, Tico and lastly PhilX.... IMO someone thought that out. Thanks for sharing the link since not all the world has Tidal.

I've never been able to decipher all of the lyrics of the bridge, is that what he's saying? All the ones I've looked up have had "Down here there they got your back and stood at your side" but I like yours way more.

I can't take any credit - I checked what I thought I heard with the Lyrics on the CD liner notes.....
