See to me, the entire album is cleverly influenced by splashes of 21st Century day music.

So if you are not into Coldplay, Interpol, The Strokes, The Killers, Keane, Bastille, Kings of Leon, and even Daft Punk, then the ending of I Will Drive You Home, and songs like New Years Day, Knockout, and Born Again Tomorrow may be tougher to accept or get into.


It's nothing to do with its style it's the fact it sounds awful that's the problem for me.

I like the song. The ending is shite. That's my opinion. So, is the ending a different style to the rest of the song?

I like BAT. I like lots of styles and genres. I just don't like that 30sec ending.

We just respectfully disagree on this one but we both share a liking of the majority of the track.
BTW. Where do you stand on Goodnight NY?

I hear that. I called my local Target yesterday just to make sure they hadn't received any early copies that would possibly be available to purchase on the hush, hush.
I think the gentleman working in electronics thought I was a tad nuts .lol

It's one of my favorites off the album.
It actually makes me want to go back to NY. Good catchy song that always gets me in a good mood. Nice bonus track.

I don't mind Goodnight NY. I think the chorus is a bit weak although I really like the end part "goodnight NY, sleep tight NY, goodnight"

I like the verses too.

I'll have 3 albums by Friday (iTunes being 1) but I was hoping one of the physical copies would have arrived by now.
