THe older WS albums are more mellow and kinda pub blues rock.

Here we go again. Lol
This is off topic as one of moderaters indicated earlier,
so I'll give you one reply and then leave it that.
Here's what I know.
Robert Plant himself called them out for sounding too much like Zep and actually made fun of Jimmy Paige for joining David Coverdale(nicknamed Coverversion by Plant)in the 90's which was named Coverdale/Paige and was basically Zeppelin V with Coverdale singing instead of Plant.
I disagree about the Whitesnake catelog as well.
Other songs besides Still of the Night that all have a Zeppelin vibe:
1. Slide it in
2. Here I Go Again
3. Fool For Your Loving
4. Slow An' Easy
5. Love Ain't No Stranger

Man, Roller Coaster just makes me feel happy. I put it on and when the chorus comes on, I can't help but smile.

Yes it is about the people in his Soul Foundation according to Jon. He said that in those small listening shows. And in fact at one show he got so choked up thinking about a volunteer he had to stop the song and start it over again. Sorry Becky if that's more information than you wanted to know, but that is what Jon said.

Can you please post a youtube link from the show? Because I have watched all the performances I have found and I haven't seen him choke up and start again.

London Palladium. He starts, stops the song, talks about the guy and starts it again.

Let's keep it that way - non of the songs have something to do with Zep at all. Cov/Page is another thing it is not Whitesnake. Never heard this comparaiso - espeically not when it comes to the songs you mentioned.

As I said I rather have them being inspired by themselves than chasing trends and even emulating their own (lame) EDM version. Look at Metallica: They have released 3 songs so far - they don't care about current trends and are being inspired by their own past. JBJ is ashamed of his Hair Metal days which is a shame.

One of the worst Jovis songs ever. I put it in the same category as "She's a Mystery", " Til we aint strangers" or other LH junk. soooo bad :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Bonus tracks

Am I the only one here that I like maybe more the Bonus Tracks than the Standard Ones???I mean...Real Love...All Hail The King...We Don't Run...I Will Drive You Home...Goodnight New York...Touch Of Grey...6 songs and they are all brilliant...The last one...Touch Of Grey... I can't stop listening to it...Just pure Bon Jovi magic...What can I say...

Lost Highway junk???I hope you are not for real...And about Roller Coaster...Yes...They hit the nail with this one...It's exactly like his title...Fast...Tense...Lifts you up in nanoseconds...So what's not to like?I love it too...It's one of the best songs in THINFS for me...Ooohhh and She's A Mystery is not in Lost Highway...It's in Crush...So be careful...Before you judge...You must know the basics about Bon Jovi...

I hate LH from start to finish. For me one of the worst records of a major band ever. Bland, powerless, bad songwriting, chasing trends. Awful.
