I am a huge Kissfan myself and I know what you mean. Pauls voice is pretty shot - but he is making up for it with his stage show. Still delivering the goods. And the guy is 64! And his costumes are a harder burden as well.

I love how everyone put Bruce on this ****ing pedestal.. He comes out with new material every 2 years and it's all the same shit too...

Bruce's catalog is much easier to sing and he wasn't getting steroid injections into his throat thought his 20's... Jon's upper register is shot which makes up 90% of his older catalog... He sounds fine with his newer stuff... Songs like Real Love live are totally enjoyable...

Sure there are a handful of stars who might outshine Jon... No one is preaching that he's in the best in the world but I could sure as hell name 100 more who Jon outshines...

I hear you - but in JBJ's case he is on the edge to lose his dignity and doing more harm to his legacy than he already did. They were untouchable until 1995 maybe even 2001. Why riding this dead horse to the ground? He doesn t need the money I guess. And if it is just for vanity it is doing him more harm than use.

Nah, that's BullShit and just another one of your dumb opinions... That's like Paul McCartney ruining his legacy based on his past 10 albums...

I wish Someday I'll Be Saturday Night had been the first single on These Days instead of the second single on Cross Road -jbj #iHeartBonJovi
Yeah, that's a shame. These Days is such an amazing album, yet doesn't get the mainstream recognition due to lacking a single. Saturday Night would've probably done the job, at least to a better extent than This Ain't A Love Song.

It's not a competition... And based on that dumb logic, no one but Bruce is worthy of any credit... So basically every act I've seen this summer should just throw themselves off a bridge... Bro, Jon is still a huge contender you're just a dope...

Did Saturday Night get a lot of airplay back then there? TAALS was one of their biggest hits down here.

I don't usually get in this dumb discussions but you're right here. A band that's still doing number one albums and number one tours worldwide can't be ruining their legacy. This is just a "I DON'T LIKE NEW BON JOVI NEW BON JOVI SUCK" act IMO. No new album will erase the old ones so you can either enjoy them or just ignore them.

I agree. Chart performance aside, my reaction to TAALS was: "Ugh! Another damn ballad!" I ignored Always for the same reason. The difference is Always took hold eventually whereas I'm still resistant to TAALS to this day because of the history. Ballads are slow burners for me and awful choices for first singles regardless of quality. Give me the rockers first then I'll settle in for the slow stuff.

The first I heard SIBSN, since I didn't bother buying Crossroad at the time, was when they performed it on Saturday Night Live. It definitely got my attention.

There are BJ fans who still love their stuff until 1995 and always will and hate their decline from then on. I am one of them. Live with it.

Everything with you is a competition... If it doesn't compare to 1995 or prior, it's shit... You are failing to realize that no artist can do that. Even all holy Springsteen... His music for the past 15 years sucks, including The Rising... It doesn't compare to The River or Born To Run... So there you go... You just have a hard on for him.

Look, I know Rouge One won't be as good as the original trilogy going into this movie. It's impossible for anything to touch those movies... I will enjoy the movie as a standalone film and just hope it could match my expectations... There are always those annoying fans who just live in the past and see everything as black or white... There is no grey... You are that dude...

Have always said TAALS was a terrible first single. It's another bland ballad. They still haven't wrote a real decent one since Always. 21 years ago.
