They're not allowed to sell it early. A big company like HMV isn't going to break the rules.

Strange things do happen - I managed to purchase the Iron Maiden's Book of Souls CD from a major audio retailer a full day before it was released. I made a point not to mention this to the employees so I could enjoy the album asap ;)

You can see two videos from the interview
Jon says they are doing less concerts because of Ticos health problems.

What is happening with Tico's health now?

Yeah, less than 24 hours and I'll have the album in my hands. I've stayed away from the leak and the live recordings, and have only listened to the snippets a couple of times.

Bring it on :p

bucketfinck 11-03-2016 03:59 PM

So..New song tomorrow??

That man is 63 and has had 2 operations during the past tour. Furthermore he has talked about having back problems for at least almost a decade now. So taking his physical condition into consideration when planning a tour seems logical to me.

JBJ pretty much said theyve had to put up with Richies drinking issues for years and thats hard going out on the road not knowing if or what richie will turn up.
Thats why he had Bobby B in the wings every night - he said all this on the eddie T interview

Captain_jovi 11-03-2016 05:49 PM

I still don't get that quote. Bobby was added in a secondary guitarist in 2003/2004 long before Richie's divorce, father's death, painkiller addiction. Regardless of his drinking he wasn't unreliable at that point when it came to live shows. It could stand to reason he was talking about why Bobby stuck around, and Bobby's responsibilities grew each tour. If Bobby was there for Richie then when Bobby left there was no need to replace him.

Thinny 11-03-2016 06:11 PM

That's doesn't make any sense, Bobby would never have been able to step into Richie's shoes. When Richie didn't show they flew Phil X back in...

ezearis 11-03-2016 06:37 PM

Video of Come On Up To Our House is already on Tidal. I liked it.

Not long term but he could (and did) fill in for a gig that same day.

Better to have an adequate stand in than nothing until the situation becomes clearer.

Q: "In your opinion do you think this break up is FOREVER?"
A:"Yeah,yeah"

DryCounty 11-03-2016 06:58 PM

Kind of likes the Come On Up To Our House video. But seriously, what is up with Shanks. I mean since The Circle there have always been four guys in the videos and now all of a sudden there are six. Is Shanks a member now? It doesn't bother me, as it actually makes sense to have him in the band as much as he is involved both as a writer, producer and guitar player.
But if he's not a member it strikes me odd. Why inlcude a touring musican in an official video promoting the band?

symbeline 11-03-2016 07:02 PM

That video was too cheesy even for BJ standards lol

On a positive note, Tidal worked for once:rolleyes:

The album should be out in TIDAL NZ and Australia. Any info on the new bonus song?

After Goodnight NY - Color Me In and Touch of Grey are 18 and 19 on TIDAL in Singapore

Captain_jovi 11-03-2016 08:21 PM

Color me In?! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Great news.

Whenever he would get a solo in a usual show, it was diabolical (In The Arms for example)

Can't wait to hear it!!

Not gonna spoil the track.

Goodnight NY is my least fav track on the record..having only been there twice some of the references escape me.

You're right about really cheesy yet it does bring the track alive for me. It was my least favorite off the album but this video brings some feel good vibe to it. Perfect for the upcoming holidays.
Cheers.
With the confirmed bonus track Color Me In being available on Tidal,
I'm stoked that I refrained from canceling my membership.

I'm pretty sure he's nearer 67 or so. I remember around 2001 checking his age and it was stated as 50 then. Around 2008 or so his birth date seemed to miraculously leap ahead a few years.

Some drummers can get away with playing well into their 60s i.e Max Weinberg or Charlie Watts but playing high tempo heavy hitting rock songs every night takes it's toll.

It wouldn't surprise me if Jon ditched Tico at some point in the near future.

Push him into "retirement" maybe.

Jon WONT FORCE ANYONE into retirement. If Tico, decides to leave Bon Jovi before they call it a day, it will be on his terms.

steel_horse75 11-03-2016 09:30 PM

Hopefully touch of grey and colour me in appear somewhere tomorrow

johndoe 11-03-2016 09:36 PM

Very Good new release

Hi Bon Jovi's friend,
I write you from France and as everywhere "THINFS" come out tomorrow but i think i am licky boy because i pre order the album with the vinyls in a supermarket store and they call me today to tell me that i can buy it.
So i already hear it twice, if you like the live performance show of "THINFS" i really think you will love it...
I am a big french fan from 90 years, i never thought that they made a bad release but for this one i really love it, one of the best of their discographie (it is sure only my point of view ;-) ).
"Drive you home" is simply perfect (hoverwise only a bonus track ;-) )
So i wish you a very good time when you will buy your cd tomorrow as i had today.
Hear it loud, Hear it proud !!!

Touch of Grey leaked days ago. Pretty sure that the moment Color Me In gets released worldwide somebody will record it with Audacity and upload it somewhere.
