Is that how how much it is for FLAC? I can't see the Deluxe version on the West coast yet, though for some reason I can see the standard.

Yeah, looks like you have to buy the entire album. I've not purchased from them before, myself.

Well that's ridiculous. Not sure how I can justify that for one song.

Are they doing a delay on other (non-Tidal) streaming services for a few weeks/months to push sales like some other artists do? I didn't think they would do that as Jon was never historically against streaming and whatnot.

I have the leaked version, so I personally don't care too much, but it would be more convenient if it was on Spotify with all the other music.

It isn't on Spotify yet here, what's stranger is that the album isn't even on their database. I hope it gets released there as is a great way to promote the album.

Maybe Tidal payed for the videos if they had the exclusive streaming of the album for some time?

I'll decide after I listen to it. The stream is being held up from actually playing over here, though both versions are listed on the streaming service.

How much is the mp3 version of the Deluxe?

That may be one way to go... then hoping that at some point it ceases to be an exclusive and sees release elsewhere.

Ugh, I wish. It shows that initially, but then reverts to $25.19 at checkout.

Thanks for the link!

Maybe that price it's just for us Argentinians. Still, if you are planning to get the iTunes version, this is a great deal as it has more songs.

I'll live with the streaming until I can get my hands on the CD.

That's what I figured, that it was priced for down there.

I actually just wound up accidentally buying it. I was prepared to enter my PayPal info, but it wound up using the payment method on file from the streaming service. So, I guess I'm the proud owner of a $25 album.

My Target CD will be arriving. So... 14.99 for the booklet! :D

Bummer! Once they charged me wrong and gave me a refund. Maybe you could ask for one? If not, another sell for Billboard haha.

If you search "todo Bon jovi" on facebook there's a download of touch of grey.

The album is released "exclusively on Tidal" among the other streaming platforms. But I guess they will add it on Spotify in a couple of weeks, just like they did with the Knockout video and youtube. Ok we tried Tidal but they can't expect from us to pay 7€ or 14€/month for this service :P

By the way, what a great album. Congratulations to Jon, Dave, Tico, John, Hugh, Phil, Billy Falcon and the rest of the team! I wish them great inspiration for the next album!

I'm using TIDAL HiFi, the lossless one, purchased in Thailand its US$10.87/mo

I woke up this morning and I said to myself, what a great ****ing day for rock and roll!!!
Today IS THE DAY

Thomas S 11-04-2016 09:49 AM

Labor of Love video is now on BonJoviVEVO Youtube. Also it looks like the New York stream wasn't one of the 10 videos (on Tidal there are still 7 grayed-out videos).

Damn, we might actually get 10 music videos.
Can anyone remember what songs they have made/are making into videos?
New Years Day, Rollercoaster, God Bless This Mess and Reunion - any others?

JOVI7826 11-04-2016 09:51 AM

Thinfs

Such an important and beautiful day for the band and for all of us,the fans..We must be very proud...The new album is very very very good...!!!

Thierry 11-04-2016 10:01 AM

Not buying the album this time. I absolutely hate the production. I'm going to stick with the live versions and download the bonus tracks.

Amen! Even though I've been listening to it since last week, actually having it in high quality makes it seem like it's freshly released. Today is the day!

I initially thought about that as well, but "exclusively on Tidal" was never really pushed anywhere for that album. Usually when a streaming service has exclusive content they promote the shit out of it (e.g. newest albums from Beyonce and Kanye West), but Tidal only pushed the music videos and livestream as exclusives.

I just hope they don't pull an "Adele" and keep the album off Spotify for 6 months. I can manage with mp3's, but having it properly with other music would be so much more convenient.

Is it on Apple music, Google play and other platforms?

Amazon Prime appears to have it for streaming. Can't tell as far as the others.

Edit: Apple Music has it.

So its everywhere except Spotify? Is this a technical ****-up or the band's policy against Spotify?

Thanks for the info!

No, Prime doesn't have it (at least over here). Would've wondered if they did, since that normally takes a couple of months after release...

I think it's a screw up. Spotify has had the same early release tracks as the other services until now. Doesn't add up.

Amazon Prime Music does have it in the U.S.

Ok, sorry, then it's obviously a better service in the U.S...

Jayster 11-04-2016 11:32 AM

Bought the album today and from a couple of listens in the car it's certainly of a better quality than probably anything since Have a nice day... As usual I think the single choices were wrong. God Bless This Mess should have been the lead single. Music and lyrics are far superior to the title track... The title track is one of my least favourites. Devil's in the Temple is also really good. A lot less fillers than there have been since Bounce.

I'm still hoping to find the version with Touch Of Grey. Anyone has seen it in the UK? HMV has the regular deluxe version

The video is as corny as the song, but is well done.

I saw a video of Jon on Extra last night and he said that he wanted to do videos for all the songs. He also confirmed that it's Bob Dylan's grandson/ Jakob Dylan's son in the video. He joked that you wouldn't want to see grandpa (him) on the beach.

#1 on Itunes

Xavi 11-04-2016 01:37 PM

I was very anxious to see if the booklet have a thank you from the band as in past records
The answer is yes
So inevitably I read it at first to see if theres a thank you to Richie from any member of the band
Now,the answer is NO by all members
So everybody take your own opinions about it,of course I got mine.
