Jon sounds so much better in this THINFS perfomance than the 4 promo shows and the Ellen performance
|
Ive just listened to KTF and to tell you the truth,Jons voice is better than I was expecting.
Its not as in 2013 but is better than in 2015 I remember KTF from Israel 15 at was nothing but pathetic The band sounds more rehearsed and with more energy I think with more shows Jons voice could improve to a better level |

I must say that they sound mostly great on what I've heard until now... well, if you don't count Jon's voice.
But as already stated by Xavi, it was better in 2015. Actually, I was a little bit surprised about how well he sang some certain difficult parts (while still failing at others, of course). But I think Jon is really doing something for his voice right now and if that kind of progress continues until February, then the THINFS tour performances will be quite good. However, I'm still waiting for more recordings. Had no chance to record something or to even watch, so I'm just hoping for the best on this front :) |
band sound great,Jon sound decent and he has 2 months to get even better shape of his voice, new songs sound cool and with this new guy Everet it is great,KTF is awesome because Shanks is better player than Bobby or Mat,maybe we will get tour that is great by playing and average by Jon singing at least!

If Jon sounds that much better on the new stuff live, then the writing and recording of This House Is Not For Sale is even more impressive. Played to his "strengths."

The YeYeYeeeee part before the solo is pretty good.

Jon does sound a bit better, you can tell he worked on it. Problem is, that's going from "abysmal" to "embarrasing" and he would need to take 5 more incremental steps to reach "almost satisfactory" (or 2013) level.
That 'yeah yeah yeah" part before the KTF solo he actually nailed! If I only heard those 3 seconds I wouldn't have believed its from 2016. |
