*eye roll* on Jon's intro of Everett.

Rdkopper 12-04-2016 05:08 AM

OMG Wanted needs some work

Rdkopper 12-04-2016 05:15 AM

I think the audio in general is a little off too which doesn't help...

He might have to stick to the newer stuff and ditch the classics... Or at least ditch the classic non hits... No one would miss Lost Highway!!!

Rdkopper 12-04-2016 05:16 AM

He said Roller Coaster is the next single...

The new stuff really shines out of all of this. Roller Coaster is a blessed relief after being put through Wanted.

Rdkopper 12-04-2016 05:16 AM

I wouldn't mind some BB tracks...

That was weird.... Maybe they had a falling out...

Esther 12-04-2016 05:18 AM

The new stuff does sound good.

I still haven't decided if I am getting tickets to the Indy show.

Esther 12-04-2016 05:19 AM

I missed what he said about Everett.
Nice intro for Hugh.

Bleeding Purist 12-04-2016 05:19 AM

Oh my god.... that was a nice surprise. Faith has been reworked nicely with a brand new ending. I missed the first part of it though having stepped away.

If he keeps introducing him sounding like a jack ass that giggles when you bring up someone being black... I'd be f**king annoyed to shit.

What did he say?

Rdkopper 12-04-2016 05:29 AM

He even struggles with We Got It Going On... I think these struggles will get masked better live in person when it comes to the stadium anthems like IML..

I'm going to have to re-listen. It's possible I misheard.

Being put through Prayer now..... So far it sounds like I'm on drugs and everything has slowed down.

I'm on it now and this might be the worst vocal of the night... Maybe even worse than Wanted...

Ah, hang in there then. I missed all of that. The ending is going to surprise you.

Bleeding Purist 12-04-2016 05:33 AM

"Thank you, good night."

I'm waiting for "She Don't Know Me."

Bleeding Purist 12-04-2016 05:35 AM

Ahh.. commentary on the energy of the band being enthusiastic.

The visual would have driven it further with a video broadcast.

The ending to Faith was fantastic...

Esther 12-04-2016 05:41 AM

I would make a few changes to the set list, but overall not to bad.

Liked the change up to Faith at the end, the new songs sound good. Excited to hear more shows.

Rdkopper 12-04-2016 05:43 AM

Get your tickets now because this will be the last tour... I never thought I'd say this but I wish he could get his 2013 voice back... If there is this much decline in 3 years, I can't even imagine what the future decline will be in 2019...

And they are all saying that this was the best show ever... and praising John Shanks specifically...

They're there to promote and kiss ass. They aren't going to offer critical analysis.

I was helping a friend move and missed the whole damn show. I'm playing catch up and ready to over analyze everything!!!

Thomas S 12-04-2016 06:40 AM

Some videos of the show

Does anybody else have recordings?

Bleeding Purist 12-04-2016 08:29 AM

"Hiding back in the black....hahahaha...my brotha..in.hahaha...I swear he's back there...hahaha"

Yeah, I wasn't imagining that cringe moment.

Thierry 12-04-2016 08:59 AM

Well the 1 million dollar question, did anybody record this?

steel_horse75 12-04-2016 10:15 AM

What was the actual set list? No way they'd do anything of first two albums except maybe Runaway.
Can't see them playing Good Guys either.

They played "Bad Medicine" instead of "Hallelujah".
"Keep the Faith" with Everett sounds incredible!

Thanks for the reminder. I was lazy at that point and missed correcting it.

LarryBJ 12-04-2016 01:13 PM

Please give us the recording

Gadden 12-04-2016 01:15 PM

Cheers :)

I agree this could be the last. I just heard KTF, Jon sounds bad in certain bits.

I agree he is older and his voice is what it is, but it has got worser since the WAN tour.

Does Jon, accept that it won't improve to what he would like? Lower the key even more on older songs? He is good on THINFS stuff but not on older?

Would fans accept that? I am not writing Jon's obituary just yet, but I love THINFS Live and album, but fans want to hear old stuff as well....

I think he should write another album, on his current voice if he can match THINFS lyrically. But you can't just play that if he makes another one, and THINFS on Tour as fans won't attend.

We shall see at the end of the THINFS Tour, if Jon decides to quit or not. If he feels he can't give an improvement vocally on old songs.
