Interesting Conversation I Had About A Song
 

I didn't want to title this Mona Lisa to give people any false hopes but I went to one of those vintage record stores tonight and chatted with the owner for about an hour...

Cool guy who really knew his stuff... Told me all sorts of interesting stories about bootlegging and recordings and how people get their hands on these thing... When I go to these places, these guys are music buffs so I don't usually bring up Bon Jovi but I told him about Mona Lisa...

He was asking me how much it sold for, was it vinyl or DVD, a few other questions... He was shocked that it hadn't leaked yet... Than he was saying how Jon probably threatened to sue everyone and their mother blah blah blah. I said 'No, Just a Collectors Copy'

Anyway, he seemed somewhat interested by it... Not that it's Bon Jovi but more about the challenge of finding it... I told him that all I wanted is a digital copy and I'll throw him a couple of bucks... I gave him my name and number so we'll see....

Matt said this song doesn't exist

Pretty sure that there was 30 second sample of it posted when it came up for sale....so Matt is full of it again....

Matt also said he does not know what song is "Cadillac Man"

Why are people even bothering to ask Matt. To pass a message to Jon? It's clear what his job and band responsibilities are and odds are he knows nothing about whats in the vault. I wish he wouldn't answer so absolute. It exists, dude.

He said it on twitter a couple months ago more or less

When it comes to rarities and the band's catalogue he clearly doesn't have a clue. Someone should ask him about Hammersmith. Maybe he'll answer "the band never played there, they only did the big arenas and stadiums in the UK" :D

Sadly I can totally see that happening. If he doesn't know he should either admit it or just ignore the question(s).
