Hadn't logged in for quite a while and found a new RSO song in the Richie thread.

Love it or loathe it, it IS different, fresh...yeah, well done. The song is good, it isn't full of BJ clichés, great vocals (a bit Hanson-ish...), good Ori solo, same old Sambora-ish solo...

What do you think?:)

Im really really happy with it ! Love the heavy sort of intro , love the solos ... super excited it sounded great live so will kick ass on studio version . Im not a big fan of Oris voice but kinda didnt mind it . Ive always liked when verses are sung duet style .... super excited . I still havnt heard the other track "Truth"?

I dig it. I disagree about it not full of cliches but the vibe is good!

There is a new Richie songs titled "Are You Alive?"

Like I wrote in the other (wrong) thread I think the song is a lot better than what I was expecting at this point. It sounds very much like an Ori song from songwriting point of view. Pretty well played by both of them too.

I am not loving the song, but it is quite all right. A lot better than I was expecting now, and far from the embarrasment I was fearing it might turn out to be.

Horrible!!!! The solo sounds like Dry County meets KTF on speed but just sloppy... This song does nothing for me..

It is an Orianthi song in wich Richie plays and sings
Having two or three solos in a song or making them longer does not make them better.
Sometimes a 15 or 30 seconds solo is better than longer ones.
That song has many solos,but they are boring,with no personality,and dont fit the song
