Simple answer: Shanks shouldn't be playing this. It *is* what Richie played, it's what Phil played on the last tour too, except they were using pinch harmonics so instead of bland notes countering the melody it sounded all squealy and added some cool depth.

My theory was correct: intro is different for every city.

I could see why some Trump supporters could be p*ssed. Showing the words "GREAT", "AGAIN", "GREAT and then having that turning into "RAT" for a short period of time, while singing "Take a look around you, yeah the sky is falling. Sinners say your prayers, this train is off the tracks" is kind of bold, but I like it ;-)

EDIT: oh, I forgot the word "DEVIL" (though it's from the lyrics, but it comes shortly afterwards) ;-)

I don't mind any trickery in studio recordings as they're supposed to be 'perfect', but can't help but feel it's morally wrong to do it on what you sell as a "live recording". This is exactly the reason why they don't sell those recordings minutes after the show (like Bruce Springsteen or Robbie Williams), but a few days later. Also, it gives all the Jon's apologists to post these falsified recordings and act like "see?? i told you he's not that bad!!!"

The other day I watched in the same forum two performances from 2010 and i was blown away, they sound pretty good, even the parts you say:


And the middle sections, like it's said in the quote, were amazing, like this one from the same year
