Bon Jovi's not dead. But it's definitely in a coma.

Secondly, I understand what you said that Jon has an obligation to put out the best show he can, and is also aware that fans pay alot of money for tickets, he knows that. I think he does the best that he can, at the same time, he realizes that, after touring for more than 30 years, that he can't please every fan in the world. I think back in the 80's, 90's and even the 00's, he worked very hard to put out the best show he could, and put a setlist that would make every fan happy, or at least he tried. But I think over the years, thanks to social media, he now maybe sees complaints from fans about setlists and maybe how his voice is not the same as it was in the past, and maybe before he may have paid attention to fans in social media, maybe a little too much, but I think now Jon is at a point in his career where he is at peace, and all he can do is the best that he can on stage, give the best performace he can, and if some fans don't like or not satisfied, then he can't force them to like it, it is what it is. I guess maybe I not as pickey as some ppl here, when I go to a Bon Jovi show, I just want to enjoy the music and have fun, and see the band have fun to, that to me is more entertaining than how well is Jon's voice, or what the setlist is.

Yes and No. The only reason I see for this static setlist is that Jon can't get better or it's taking more time than he expected to reach a level where he can add more difficult songs. Nobody is complaining because he's not singing Always, it's just that this specific setlist is not working even for casuals.

There are many (casual) fan favorites he could sing and still save his voice and make people more open to so many THINFS songs. Unless they are in a very tight budget and for some reason the logistics of changing the setlist every night are too complicated, I don't see why he's not listening to the fans.

And as everybody here has pointed out, Valentine's day had a tradition of romantic songs. Would it kill him to end the show with a ballad?

No valentine's song it' a Shame.
I don't care about this love day but i think that it's not a good sign for a jovi concert..
And it's incredible that jon's voice is getting worse night after night

We, as fans, whether we went to the show or not, have every right to complain about set lists. This was an opportunity for Jon to play songs that are slightly different because it was Valentines Day but instead he played the same show except for one or two songs that have been switched around.

'Superman Tonight' acoustic is an absolute breeze on the vocals, he could have done that. I'll Be There For You etc... why not play one? I'm not a huge fan of slow ballads live anyway but of all days, I'd expect something.

Yeah, it is only three or four shows in but some people have been to two out of 4 already but have seen EXACTLY the same show.

I went to watch a play last week and I loved it that much, I went to see it again. You know what? It was better the second time around because they add some improvisation and stuff into it. How hard is it for a band of 30+ years to mix it up?

Sorry, I don't agree. If it wasn't for the internet you'd never known what was played each night.

The one thing I'll say is - why not change the set if your selling the show to buy after ?? So far if you buy one you don't need to buy the others.

I think there's been a slight overreacting by some over the sets not changing after only 3 shows. If it's the same 10 down the line then that's a worry.

So? This the time we live in now. We do know what has been played which is why I said we have the right to complain.

I say this every time.. if I was there, I'd enjoy it. If I got this show twice which some people have, then I'd be fuming.

excatly my point...You me and 99% of this forum werent there so dont worry about it!

Setlists will be different in Europe and UK anyway so we're fine :D

Regarding the set list... one, give the guys a few shows to work it out and get comfortable... Sure they are selling them but let them master what they got first... Jon's got a whole new band up there and it's not as natural for them just yet... Practicing 100 songs doesn't give Jon the freedom to randomly start pulling out different tracks... they are still a professional band up there and Jon doesn't like mistakes... They should get at least 3 - 4 - 5 shows to workout what they got... Come on or people, be realists....

Second, it'll be around 12 bucks a show... Right now they have this bracelet thing going on which I still don't get its total purpose but I'm assuming it's for the people who attended the shows, a chance to get a copy of it instantly... which if that's the case, they don't give a shit about the other shows, just the one they attended...

I'm sure by the time they start selling these on line, we'll see some changes...

No they aren't... Because they didn't play My Funny Valentine??? The reviews have been great and the people in attendance are raving... Go to a show, then come here and post an honest review...

Until then, it's just people complaining to complain... 4 shows in and I see nothing wrong...
