The show that video was from was quite an anomaly. It was at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center in NYC and it was a dialogue between David Bergman and Jon (and some musical friends). It was sponsored by American Express and tickets were $50.00. I was there that night and I can tell you that wasn't the only time that Jon talked about Richie. It would be wrong to say the whole show was an ode to Richie - but it was damn close. Jon dedicated the final song to Richie - wherever he was that night. I think plenty more videos are on youtube, you should watch them if you have time (or interest). It was a hell of a show with a lot of insight.

At the end was a Q & A which was also awesome. I authored a complete DVD from that show many years ago, with the help of many people who shared their video. It was shared on Seb's old forum. I don't know if it's out there somewhere.

Thanks. I'll definitely check them out.

Very interesting, thanks for the info Kathleen

I thought that WLOL came from a Fanclub event. I haven't heard about this show before and now I'm very curious :D

Of course I do too but I don't think I ever shared it with anyone outside our group. You should do a rewatch, especially of Jon talking and explaining. I was shocked yesterday when I went looking for that clip and saw how much he talked about Richie in that show. And that was 2009.

There are many, many clips on YT. I authored the entire show, it's approx 2 hours long. So far I have not found the entire show.

bonjovi90 02-24-2017 12:31 AM

I'll see if I can upload the full DVD to my YT channel on the weekend ;)

I've subscribed to tons of different BJ related accounts on youtube but I'm assuming you're under the very same name there, aren't you? ;)

btw. thanks! :)
