They won't have the #1 tour of the year simply because they are doing so few dates this year ( in Bon Jovi terms). But given how far ahead they were of act #2, they would have been contenders had they toured as usual.

The Stones are touring this summer and their prices are even higher than Bon Jovi's. Harry Styles is going on tour too, so he should do well with the young crowd.

Is Harry Styles in the same price bracket/crowd size as Jovi/Stones?

I really don't know about his prices. I doubt he could charge as much as they do, but he's selling out very quickly from what I hear on Volume news. I'm not a fan, just aware of the news.

I wish tours were tallied by the number of tickets sold versus the amount of money grossed. (Or do they?)

I think some acts ask more money just so they can have higher gross sales.

My friend bought her daughter tickets for Harry Styles. I think they were around $100 a ticket, but he is playing in extremely small venues. Demand was high though.

I wish that too. Some bands used to continuously play to more people than the top tours of the year, but don't get there because they're tickets were less expensive, how much of that is still true now I don't know because it's been years since I've paid any attention to that....
