Do you have a stream?

efpg0708 03-20-2017 03:34 AM

I've just texted my brother who's at the show. It's his first time seeing them live. He just wrote me: "He can't sing anymore. But the new guy kicks ass".

You're from Brazil and your brother is at the show in Cleveland? That's a huge coincidence...

CLEYoungGun21 03-20-2017 03:48 AM

Man, you call yourself "the most knowledgeable bla-bla-bla" and yet you come up with childish things like this. There is a difference between trying to engage in a discussion with good debates and being open minded about things, and simply trying to win an argument to satisfy your ego.

I don't want Jon to sound bad. I love this band and I loved the awesome experiences I've had with them, and I feel extremely sad to see how they've declined. So no, I don't feel better now, I actually feel sad.

These kind of posts don't add anything to the discussion. This is a fan community, not a place where you have to make people's minds or else you'll be fired or something similar. You are trying so hard to become the new dutch troll who would write in his resumee: "drycounty.com/jovitalk's most respected reviewer and member" that you're starting to be as annoying as he was.

And for your information, my whole family is american and my brother lives in Cleveland.

You're post was so random and unnecessary... You're just trolling at this point... We all know how you feel about Jon's voice from the other thread and now you had to bring it into this one...

'My bother text me who is here in person and said that Jon can't sing' Oh and let me throw in a positive about Phil to make it look real!!!

We get it dude!!!!

DestinationJovi 03-20-2017 03:55 AM

Nice to see a new addition to the set!

And I like Capt Crash live. I know a lot don't, but I do.

CLEYoungGun21 03-20-2017 03:56 AM

New Year's Day coming up it looks like... is that a tour debut?

Nope. Played in Ft Lauderdale

DryCounty 03-20-2017 03:58 AM

So New Years Day, Working Man and Captain Crash. Not the most excitig titles but three changes from last night so far. Has to be a tour record? Nice to see :)

Indeed.

I detest Wordking Man, but super happy to see Jon not doing the copy/paste set list.

Once again you're just confirming what I said. I love this board and this band, but there are a lot more important things in my life than trying to win an argument in a discussion board about the band I love. So please, don't think that everyone here has to win every argument or else his/her ego will be broken just because you think this way.

The only reason why I replied to you in a personal way it'e because for the first time you went personal with me, which is completely unnecessary. I don't know anyone here personaly, yetfor the 7 years I've been here we've all been able to engage in constructive discussions. So there's no need to throw in these childish lines.

I'll not discuss this any further. As I said, this doesn't add anything to the discussion, and the rest of the members don't need to read this.

I like the fact that he's keeping an average of 6-7 new songs in the set, but why play Working Man ? No one between the casuals knows this song, I simply don't get it. There are dozens of better songs that he can actually sing that would work much better than this turd.

CLEYoungGun21 03-20-2017 04:15 AM

Have a Nice day next up!

Completely agree. I don't know why he pulled it back into this tour at all. But the song was inspired by workers laid off at a company in Ohio, so of anywhere, Cleveland makes some sense.

Well, I really don't have to say anything about this one. You've done it yourself. But just do us a favor: if you want to keep this up, please PM me and I'll be happy to discuss it with you.

RD there's zero reason to make it personal. PM him if you have issues.

After Who says to open the encore, Wanted and Prayer followed and that was it.

Fantastic show! More in depth review tomorrow some time with videos

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the updates

efpg0708 03-20-2017 05:19 AM

Both my brother and his wife enjoyed the show. He said they played a lot of new stuff (he's not familiar with anything besides NJ/Slippery, so LH, WLOL, Crash, etc ... are all new to him) but they enjoyed it anyway. The only negative comments they made were that:

They didn't play Always and I'll Be There For You (Always was their wedding song).

Jon's vocals were very weak at times.

They still put on a good show for the casuals. But as a diehard, I honestly don't have any interest in paying to see them this tour, even though I love the album.

...but ummm... I thought Jon sounds fine when you're in person and they're just trolls who criticize him for no reason, no??? I'm confused
