What is the problem?

Bonjovi.com is a fake news site, just like most of mainstream media these days...

Even crazier - how about GNR and The Who? Has The Who ever been 2nd on the bill since the 60s?

The Who was second on the bill just a few months ago for the Desert Trip concert in Coachella. They opened for Roger Waters.

Ah man!!! It's been confirmed Def Leppard will be playing Rock In Rio on Sept 21, along with Aerosmith, Billy Idol and Scalene.

Can this this line up get any better!? Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Aerosmith, Billy Idol, Alice Cooper, Guns n Roses... Someone buy me a ticket to Brazil!

Billy Idol just cancelled the date.

No clue if will be a replacement yet.

That's weird IMO.

Perhaps Pink Floyd is a more iconic band than The Who (which is debatable), but it's Roger Waters solo act vs. The Who (with both Roger and Pete), I would've had The Who headlining still.

I suppose the difference is that the who sound really really bad live now. People go see the who to just say that they've seen them. Roger waters can still hold his own live and sounds pretty decent.

Gutted about Billy. Great live act and Steve Stevens is an amazing guitarist

Ok, I feel that I need to make a personal apology here. A couple of weeks ago I mentioned about how people here got information that the band was going to perform at Rock in Rio in Brazil in September, Now I made it seem that it was just a false rumor, but I just checked the official BJ website and it is confirmed the band will be there. I am a big girl and I know when I made a boo boo, so once again, I apologize, no hard feelings?

bought my ticket today, I'm almost crying of happiness, gonna see Def Leppard and Aerosmith too

efpg0708 04-09-2017 08:59 AM

Going on thursday (Aerosmith) and saturday (Guns). My friends are going on friday too, so I might just go with them. I just hope that Jon picks a right setlist for a festival this time around. 2013 set was a snoozfest, and since it was the same set as their basic WAN tour set, it would have been the same if Tico was there. He has to realize that songs like LH, We Got it Going On, Who Says, Crash , etc don't work down here. I really hope for the best, but I just can't see Jon working a big crowd of mostly casuals in an open air set like RIR anymore. Fingers crossed !!
