All I know is, I'm going to both MSG shows and I can't wait...
I just counted my ticket stubs and this will make # 45 & 46... Hopefully on more tour/leg to get to 50... |

Enjoy! |
When I initially purchased tickets 6 months ago, I just got Philly & only Saturday Night MSG... I though back to back nights in MSG would be a bit much considering I just saw them the prior week in Philly, etc..
However, being that I had such a great time in Philly, it'll be almost 2 weeks later, and both MSG nights are now spread apart by a day, I kinda regretted not getting tickets to both... And even more so with Jon's vocal issues, you never know when the last time is... Anyway, I kept sporadically checking Ticketmaster because I knew for sure people were going to do some returns and sure enough, I was able to snag 2 tickets for Thursday, face value, like as if they were on presale... That worked out perfect... I'm in the back of the stage but I didn't pay a lot either so I don't mind... Plus the back is where the only screen is too... I was first level, dead center in Philly and I couldn't see shit! The back is where it's at... |

First of all: sorry for my bad English .. I gave my best!
As a 20-year-old die hard fan I got the greatest 20th-Birthday-present ever a few months ago to come to NYC and go to two shows of my greatest idols - my all time favourite band - at their birthplace, the routs of the house which is not for sale - MSG! I was able to see them just twice live before and became that "die hard fan" after that! So after the BWC-Tour I daily checked the news just waiting for the new album and ... A new world tour! Three long years later they finally gave us THINFS and the first tour dates - that was the time when I expected them to come to Europe in Summer! But that was not the case.. So my family spent a few thousand dollars to give me the chance to see them live with them in the hometown of BJ! I waited several months and counted the days till 4/7 - super-excited to finally get on the plane and fly to NYC for a short trip with my family from 4/7 to 4/9! But when I woke up on friday morning I had the shock of my life! I could not realize and I didn't want to realize what was going on.. So with no chance to change the flight or the hotel and with literally tears in my eyes considering the fact that I have missed the (maybe last) chance to see them live at MSG (And maybe it was the last chance to see them live anyway - Who knows if Jon wants to countinue touring in the future?! I personally don't expect a European leg next Year..) So with tears in my eyes I got on the plane and with tears in my eyes I was standing right in front of MSG yesterday and realized that I am so close and yet so far away.. I don't want to annoy you with my personal fate but I have to talk about that 'cause I don't wanna accept it! I'm just so sad.. It was supposed to be the greatest weekend of my life and neither Jons voice nor a weak setlist(altough I think MSG has never had a weak setlist) nor a missing Richie could have ruined that! But now I'm standing in front of the closed doors of MSG still dreaming of how it possibly could be to be live at a BJ show in NYC (one of the final shows of the tour too) and sing 'Always' with 20000 other friends... 😢 |

When you book trips to see a show, you hope for the best, but there's no guarantees. I'm sorry that you happened to be on the wrong end of it :( On a positive side, you got see them before this tour (when they sounded much better than they do today), whereas some people never had that opportunity. |
