oh well, whoever is responsible, that is obviously a bad choice marketingwise for this website.

Only some obscure porn site could hold on to such heavy advertisements :-D

Super sketchy ones too like "Your computer has contracted a virus and must be shut down" BS.

I know what you mean. Viewing this board on my PC is impossible. I now use the Tapatalk app with no problems. Otherwise I stayed away from here.

I agree... Bon Jovi aren't mainstream anymore and I think that takes away from most people's interest... it's almost like an underground following now... Even the fans attending the concerts seemed different... And I don't mean older... We'll kind of...

10 years ago, it just seemed to be everyday people of all ages... now it just seems like core fans... or for another example, 10 years ago, there were kids in their 20's going and now 10 years later, those kids who are now in their 30's are not there...

Well, I guess it is what it is. Similar to what happened to them in the US in the 90s. They had built a fanbase of young people and when they were around in their 30s they turned their backs on them.

Those people will return when they pass through this. People tend to get nostalgic when becoming older and settled down.

However, I just don't think Jon's voice will last for too long.

Yup. They won tickets or had Bon Jovi on their bucket list. But then they don't hear I'll be there for you... Bed of roses.... Runaway.. etc. And all of the sudden crash, LH, WGIGO, WFTWM WLOL fall on deaf ears because the die hards are sick of those songs and the casuals don't know them. The difference between crowds on the HAND tour to now is staggering.

What ive never understood is why JBJ keeps this act up. He knows exactly what im talking about and yet continues to do it.

If you're gonna play 5 songs every night that nobody in the crowd wants to hear, why not start a huge continuous rotation showing the depth of your catalogue. Someone goes home and says "There was this Cowboy Ride song, sounded kinda cool" then they look it up and see it was from New Jersey. As die hards if there was 3-5 slots in the set that could change every night and could be any possible song. Hell I don't even care if its the song Complicated, but it would surprise me. There are so many songs they could go to, that he could potentially sing, that would make this board go nuts.

There's no possible way he thinks the whole building knows or wants to hear some of the songs he's choosing - and I do believe that's why some of the crowds didn't sell out, and why others were very subdued.

Ill stop there - cause i'll get worked up further.

I liked this tour. I liked being able to listen to all the shows via the digital downloads. I won't ever criticize Jon or this band for going out and supporting a new record with new band members. Was it boring? Sure. But that's ok. He could just sit home in his big mansion on the Navesink and never be heard from again, but he chooses not to and I'm fine with that.
