*covers her ears* I don't want to listen to any BJ song in Spanish
*covers her eyes* or read any lyrics :-D:-D Most singers can't convey what they want to say in another language which is only logical. I remember being a huge Shakira fan until she started singing in English. Her pronunciation was perfect but the lyric quality took a huge dip, and it wasn't even a direct translation. She just couldn't be as "artistic" no matter how good her English is (well and she turned into a different singer, that too) |
First time in MANY YEARS I've enjoyed a performance of Sleep...it was actually played somewhat up tempo. Just wish it had a jumpin Jack medley

On the 3 songs, the spanish lyrics have almost nothing to be with the original ones, but Miro a tu ventana is the closest one. Though the lyrics are a bit different,Jons pronunciation is also the best one wich makes it the best for me. Then would be,Como yo nadie the ha amado. Again the lyrics are different, for example the title: "This aint a love song" would be "Esta no es una canción de amor" And we have in spanish: "Como yo nadie te ha amado" that in english would be something like "Nobody has loved you like me" or something like that. Finally, the worst, althought the title is the same,is,by far,Cama de Rosas. But,like it has been said up this topic,I really appreciate his effort to have recorded those songs and sometimes sing them live. I really enjoyed the two times I have seen Cama de Rosas live. But believe me,dont try to translate it to english |
