Those amazing SA crowds surely brought whatever was left of the Jon we love.

Speaking of chills, this gave me quite a few - 7:50 onwards - Jon being so full of pride again and the guys fist-bumping him, wow!

He gets a Dublin crowd on the right night and we will bring that out of him again!!

Wow, I do not know if this has been something punctual or really change the course, whatever it is, there was some magic in Sao Paulo, and that's fabulous. It is the first time in the whole tour I see that this happens.

Wow, that's probably the first positive comment I've ever seen from you about Bon Jovi without Richie! Congratulations, man! :D

Interesting band introduction

On Phil X from 2.00
"Phil X made his mark in this band, he's made his mak in this band for well over 100 + shows. He's gonna be here forever and a day."

Not trying to make a point in any way, just a pretty clear statement from Jon that he's not looking back anymore. Have to say Phil deserves it. What a way he has stepped in and filled the shows we never though were possible to fill.

When Jon was doing the Ooooooo's at the end of These Days, his voice was perfect... Not sure what note or key that was in but his voice and energy brought me back to the Lay Your Hand On Me video back in 1989... That's the way to end the leg... I want a SBD of that These Days...

What made me quite positive is how he has been quite steady with his vocals (of course still extremly restricted, but there are signs that he's at least not completely done) for those 4 SA shows. In the USA there were much more fluctuations from night to night. Plus he seems to have finally realized that working the stage and really interacting with the band/crowd can cover more of the flaws. I hope he takes some confidence back from these shows and builds on that. Still a long way to go, but we may get there in the end.

My first thought when I saw the setlist:

Best set list of the tour. No bullshit half tempo thinfs songs, and it seemed fresh and upbeat and had an actual rhythm and flow.

Then I watched the videos. No, Jon does not have his 2011 voice back. I saw 14 shows on the 2010/11 tour with 6 of them being in Europe. Not even close to the same voice.

However, the passion is back. These videos demonstrated to me that he actually wanted to be there and loved what he did. And I would take passion over an excellent voice any day of the week.

That is very sad. It broke my soul.

Spot on and perfectly summed up!
