good guys don't always wear white
i forgot just how much this song ****ing RIPS
it's so good. so so so so so so so so so good one of jovi's best hard rockin' songs. one of their best songs, period the riff, the vocals, the drums, the solo, everything is tremendous i know it was for a soundtrack to a film, but how the hell was this not on a full album in any capacity>??/? ROCK AND ROLL |
It was written for a movie so it’s on that soundtrack. It’s the song with my favorite drum part.Tico is killing it!
|
Wouldn't make sense to put it on an album if it was just on a soundtrack, I'd rather a new song. BUT my god. That solo. What a frigging guitar solo.
|
Exactly how I feel! Last GREAT Jovi rock song. And playing & production on track is top notch too. Its a shame it wasnt written couple of years earlier....would've been one of the key track on Keep The Faith. And you got great ol' Al on the video too!
|
I suppose it might have made Crossroad if the film was a big success. It was done just before crossroad right?
|
Yeah, In my playlist of Keep The Faith, I remove Woman in Love and put this song in its position. It feels so good in that set that seems written for that album.

for me this song represent the band at the top. It was like they got into the studio and said: "alright, let's do our best, let's just play". This song sounds so natural for me. For me it was not heavly thought of to be made, it just came out. Love this song, and also love this band.

I would have posted that video, too, but I didn't want to throw the thread off topic! P.S. Their "passion" was allegedly rooted in being defeated by Take That for Best Live Act. |
