Based on the podcast Jon did today, the tour starts in March and will be 30 or 40 shows in the Spring. No more big tours. He could have done stadiums last year and just didn’t want to. A couple of songs will be released. A new record will probably come in about a year.

He did not mention any specific locations for the next tour. He talked openly about how miserable the WAN and Asian tours were. Things are definitely better now.

I’m a bit frustrated because they are playing several shows within driving distance, but would all require a day or two off work, which I don’t have thanks to so many sick days already used this school year.
The best plan at the moment seems to be Houston on a Friday hit New Orleans that Sunday and get docked two days’ pay. I have yet to see the band in TX or LA somehow after all these years. Ugh. I don’t want to get fired for excessive absences though. How would I afford more concerts? |
Orlando here I come!!

I'm going to Orlando with my family on February 22 and we'll leave back to Finland on March 9. I was hoping that they would kick off the tour earlier (at the start of March), so we maybe would've had the opportunity to see the guys live again, but no. The biggest act I've seen overseas so far was Foreigner in 2016, but I was really hoping to see Jovi again, having not seen them since Helsinki '11... shame. |
Might sit this round out. No shows near me and not sure I am up for traveling for it this time. I may regret this if the show morphs from last years set, but for now I'm assuming it will be quite similar to St Louis last year.
