Now I’m daydreaming about hitting Denver and Salt Lake City the week of spring break, but it’s a 26 hour drive home. Colorado is on my bucket list, just for life in general.

I originally wanted to do Denver last year as a nostalgic trip back to the home of my early teenage years and where I saw my first concert on the Slippery When Wet tour. Luckily, I didn't go that route with the cancellation happening.

Denver with the Rockies behind it is beautiful.

I'm not missing it this time! I'm planning on going to Minnesota. I do wonder though why they planned another date in multiple places from 2017. Does it have something to do with those locations being bigger markets/venues so more people can attend? Also, wonder why all the other dates pretty much go on sale next week but Minnesota not until mid Feb.

I haven't taken the time to compare the dates from last year, but at a glance it looked to me like they were hitting the markets they missed last year with more dates on the East Coast in the markets where they are biggest (NY/NJ.)

Might sit this round out. No shows near me and not sure I am up for traveling for it this time. I may regret this if the show morphs from last years set, but for now I'm assuming it will be quite similar to St Louis last year.

The set lists will probably be quite different from the first leg of the tour. I'm expecting BOR, IBTFY, ITA and Always to make frequent appearances - maybe also Dry County and These Days (if Jon finally gets that he doesn't have to play only the hits + new stuff even in the USA).

I would love it if you’re right about those songs. I don’t think Dry County and These Days will be played in North America unless it’s Montreal, Toronto, or Madison Square Garden.

You can always come and visit me :) We will be going to Newark and MSG at least - maybe Mohegan Sun too.

You may be right - or wrong, for that matter... :D But I'm sure that the sets won't be nearly as THINFS based as they were on last year's US leg. I'm expecting more of the big ballads to be played, probably even on a nightly basis (as in South America). That said, I Love This Town will probably make its comeback as well...

Will your husband (Seb) go to the shows with you? If so, I'd love to hear his comments about them... :D

Wrong Eldridge, but then again, I never got married to the right one either. And while grieving, I subsequently stopped caring, as much as I did, for Bon Jovi as well. So no comments from me this time around.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I'm sorry, Seb - I didn't know you and Kathleen weren't married anymore. I certainly didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Please, forgive me.
