better no show than a "driving with Hand-break Jon Show"

This is my favorite KTF version ever! It's just so epic and rock n' roll. Such a band. If someone asks me "why Bon Jovi", this is something I'd show them. The whole band was on fire.

Just watched a dozen of videos from the Vegas show and it's quite remarkable how much Jon suddenly moves on the stage. He hasn't been this active since 2011 without a doubt. Compare it to the 2017 NA leg when he spent 90 % of the time by his mic stand to now where he takes pretty much every opportunity to let loose.
For me it makes a huge difference and makes the experience very much more enjoyable. I wonder if it's because he simply feels more relaxed and comfortable now or if it's simply because he wants to prove something to himself. Either way, it's very nice to see him bringing back the front man in him.

The reason he didn't move was due to Richie not being there.
As I remember his self confidence went down.

It was not the screaming that messed up his voice. It was simply singing with an unhealthy technique.

To me, it’s just f*cking cool that he’s screaming again. Hell, let ’em screams get as long as you want, Jonny - this is something we haven’t seen since the Bounce/early HAND tour!

Now, let’s just hope that he doesn’t get to hear about us worrying about this... I missed the screaming Jon so much for so long; I don’t want that guy to disappear ever again.

People complained he was at the mic way too much when that tour started in 2013 though.

Exactly. Jon should do every show as if it was his last - he definitely should never hold back anything.

WhamATC 03-19-2018 03:26 PM

He shouldn't scream like in 2003. I am sure he won't do it anyways

WhamATC 03-19-2018 03:32 PM

He definitely shouldn't do shows like if it was the last time.
He could get nodules or whatever within a few days, months or years if he did that.
Risking other kind of vocal problems such as bowing as example too.
His voice could get even deeper making it harder to perform his older songs.

He should sometimes do speeches before long Dry County solo and maybe even shout it out sometimes (but not scream or yell it like if it's 1995 or 96.)

Vocal damage happens easier than you might think.

Be careful about what you wish for.

Captain jovi, didn't Stephanie's overdose happen early 2013 or 2012 or something?
