I really like this too BJfan99 his energy, etc.

His mental stuff going away finally.

He even moved on stage during THINFS too.

That's what I noticed, too. He's himself again! :D

I actually agree!

I don't know how I should feel right now, but... but... but...

F*ck the vocals - the energy and passion are back.

I don't know about all of you, but this is the band I love.

Here's KTF from last night with Jon being on absolute fire:

I somewhat agree with this - I can deal with the vocals not being great if the performances is there, and he's definitely getting there. I'm not about to claim that it's as amazing as some are claiming though. The vocals are a little better this show, though far from where they really should be still, however the performace looks like it was a lot better! Still not as good as San Paulo though, and that should be the bar that they are aiming for. Still a long way to go but it's encouraging. I wonder if they wanted to do these shows so that he was completely warmed up by the time Hall Of Fame came along...

Yes, it was. That last chorus really was something else.

I honestly think Jon has flipped some kind of a switch in his mind and is finally ready to become the performer he used to be again. He just seems so confident again: he moves on stage, screams (!!!!!), walks in the crowd and interacts with his fans like in the good old days.

The SA leg obviously gave him a giant boost of confidence and now that the band is getting inducted to the HOF, Jon has clearly gone completely nuts again (in a good way). I mean, I haven't seen him like this in ages!

Holy sh*t, you're right. He did rasp on the " I want to be" part. And it sounded fuc*ing good!

JustineJovi 03-18-2018 12:59 PM

which sector Jon had an audience performance??

liljovi93 03-18-2018 01:10 PM

Thought BOR would be better after seeing the reaction. It was alright. Thought he was going to try and punch Matt at one point even though he was only trying to keep him up.

It's just good to see him a bit more relaxed. He is improving but it's still poor. Definitely a bit of rasp at the end. Only slightly but something.

I can't really hear any vocal improvement - BUT it's incredible nice to see Jon acting like a frontman again and working the stage. For me it makes it a lot more visual experience which takes away a little of the vocal struggle.

And this.

He's clearly singing with ease while moving which means he's halfway there (ha ha ha). He still sounds pretty rough but not as patchy as before and it doesn't make me cringe every single song, though to be honest it still doesn't make me want to listen to the whole song.

We'll see if he keeps this (apparent) steady improvement until the HOF, it'd break my heart if they did another iHeartRadio-level performance. Jon should give his all as it will be his last chance to shine.

"He sounded good on this one" "He sounded like shit on that one" "He dodged a note on this one" "He rasped on that one" "It's 2013 again" "There is hope" "He needs to retire" "Wait, there is hope" "No, his legacy is ruined" "Wait, no there is hope after all" "He just needs to retire this song" "No wait again, there is hope again" "Is it 2010 again?" "He's Back!"

Does anyone know the definition of Insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again and getting the same result every time!!! Think about it...

Let's talk about something else then.

Jon is looking pretty buff, which is great for confidence and energy levels! I liked the vest Shanks was wearing and I'm so jealous of Phil's hair, we have the same type but his looks amazing whereas mine looks crazy and tumbleweed-y
