Zakatar 05-03-2018 05:19 AM

01. This House is Not For Sale
02. Raise Your Hands
03. You Give Love a Bad Name
04. Whole Lot Of Leavin'
05. Lost Highway
06. In These Arms (only 2nd time in 2018 )
07. Born to Be My Baby
08. Who Says You Can't Go Home
09. It's My Life
10. We Weren't Born to Follow
11. Someday I'll Be Saturday Night (Electric, 1st time in 2018!)
12. Keep the Faith
13. Amen
14. Bed of Roses
15. Lay Your Hands on Me
16. Runaway
17. Captain Crash & the Beauty Queen From Mars (1st time in 2018 )
18. Bad Medicine

only 18 songs in the main set? There better be at least one audible in the encore!

Definitely the best main set of the tour so far, considering both Sleep and WGIGO were skipped!

David's keyboard cheat sheet is wayyy more interesting than that setlist

I'm assuming they're all the songs they have (at least a little bit) rehearsed as a band.

They're gonna make me regret not getting tickets to Mohegan, aren't they?

You still have a chance if it's not sold out!

Too late for me to get out of work now. I looked a couple weeks ago though and still wasn't willing to spend the money. :/

Wow, they’re putting on an amazing set here. Dry county! Great that I was able to watch it live too. This is the first setlist that may be better IMO than what I got in Newark.

Not just that, Saturday Night made its first appearance of the year and WGIGO and Sleep were both skipped!

Zakatar 05-03-2018 06:00 AM

I'm starting to think there may actually be a chance of Hey God making an appearance in one of the Canadian shows...

Captmorgs 05-03-2018 06:04 AM

Did he say something like they haven’t played Dry County in 5 years?

Yes he did.

Falco 05-03-2018 07:04 AM

Come onnnnnnn, they play Dry County right AFTER the Milwaukee show?? I've wanted to hear it live since my first Jovi concert in 2003. :(

Zacm95 05-03-2018 07:21 AM

I’d love to see them keep in these arms and Saturday night in those spots. Best set so far, I hope he pulls out all the stops in philly... at this point who knows what he’ll do

BJFan99 05-03-2018 07:28 AM

Holy motherf*cking shit...

Is Jon high or something?

There goes my "standard setlist" prediction! :D Dry f*cking County, In These Arms and Saturday Night, f*ck man... this actually reminds me of the Kansas City show in 2008 (in terms of rarities, while not completely out of the blue like Hey God or One Wild Night, getting played)!

Also, that DC was perfectly decent for Jon's post-2011 standards. He's actually hitting the high notes again after struggling with them basically every time they've played it since April '13 (and yes, Walleris - I do acknowledge it's a 120% performance...). Phil's solo sounded great as well.

All in all, if f*cking Allentown gets a set like this, what the hell are the guys going to play in Toronto, NYC and Montreal? Always, These Days, Blaze, Hey God? My personal request would be This Ain't A Love Song, but Jon probably thinks it's not worth performing in NA...

BJFan99 05-03-2018 07:44 AM

So, what did they play after DC? Just Wanted and Prayer, or were there any other audibles performed?

I have no ideia of what goes on in Jon's head. These notes are completely out of reach for him, and he sounds horrible when attempting to hit them. Furthermore, 99% of the audience in the US has no clue about what song this is. So why not play something that would suit his (lack of) voice better ? Something like Wild is The Wind or Bounce would go down the same way Dry County does with the casual fans and it would not highlight how shot his voice is.

I get why he still attempts Always every now and then, it's one of their biggest hits. But with Dry County, it seems that he wants to prove something, but all he's doing is highlighting his vocal issues.

It actually doesn't - don't worry, efpg0708 is overanalyzing things... :D It's obviously not up to Jon's '08-'11 standards, but it's far better than any 2013 version I remember hearing of the song (maybe save for Milan). He's hitting the notes and actually singing instead of shouting or whispering.

yeah
I think Zakatar died after Dry County, 'cause he wasn't posting the setlist anymore

the whole concert is on periscope, Dry County starts at 22:30 in this link: https://www.pscp.tv/w/1PlKQXVkQAVxE?q=bon+jovi

If that's the case, seeing I Am and Love Me Back To Life on there is quite interesting. Now THAT would be a setlist shakeup :p

That performance of dry county sucks. Absolutely dreadful.

james_d 05-03-2018 09:48 AM

I personally enjoyed Dry County, it was better than it had any right to be if I'm honest. ITA sounded better than last time apart from the solo of course. Haven't heard Captain Crash or Saturday night yet

Probably because it's one of the songs he's most proud of, rightfully so.
Performance was okayish, but today's standards...
But boy do we miss Richie.

Ah, shut the f*ck up already. It was a decent effort, at least the choruses. Yeah, he struggled in the verses, and yeah, it can be dreadful to hear at times, but for the state Jon is in, it was a good effort! And a nice surprise...

If you don't like it, fine, but no need to bash the performance twice in 10 posts...
