Surely Jon would have picked up by now that this goes across like a wet lettuce!🥴

Just a week ago Jon Bon Jovi wasn't able to do justice to an acoustic rendition of Livin' On A Prayer and you're thinking he could survive a show like this?

You really underestimate how much doctoring took place after the entire show was done. There's pitch correction, volume adjustments and overdubs. You also assume this was done as a normal gig while it's only fair to assume some songs were done twice and/or certainly not done with the minimal breaktime in between like was shown.

Salaam Aleikum,

Sebastiaan

No one is denying any of that. The show was also recorded over 2 days so factor in multiple takes.

It's just refreshing to hear the songs sound like they are supposed to.

Kudos to the person doing the mix

I agree. If Jon naturally sounded anything close to how the tech makes him sound nowadays, I think we'd all be fairly happy.

My biggest gripe with Jon's voice nowadays isn't the disordered range (he can mostly still sing high notes better than middle ones). It's the extremely forced and unpleasant-sounding tone and pitch completely without resonance that just makes me cringe time after time.

He sounds like a 70 to 80-year-old half deaf grandpa who used to be a great singer several decades ago, but let himself get rusty and lost his touch.

Sound quality isn't great unfortunately. Misses out a fair few songs too

He is out of breath on the best part of Let It Rain. Such a let down.

I think Beautiful Drug is a nice start. And Wanted is a good end (the best Bon Jovi song in my opinion).
Glad people had fun.
It gives me hopes that the guy on the video sings worse than Jon.

Hahahahhahaha

I liked this show (saw almost all songs by now). Jon going crazy at HAND and the "yeah yeah yeah" at KTF were highlights.

Also: start this specific show with Beautiful Drug was really nice. Jon's first words in this comeback being "tear off your mask, don't need to hide" was meaningful!
