Yeah, this. My last show was on the WAN tour, both shows I saw were underwhelming and even then I was backing away from the idea of paying so much to see songs I've heard live everytime get less and less engaging. I don't really want to pay 100+ dollars even if Jon is really on fire selling the songs, it's not really songs I want being sold to me. I have 10 years of great memories and that's enough for me. Shake up the setlist, do something different and then we'll talk.

I imagine if I was in your position I'd say the same, but with how few times I've seen them live I'll still probably go next tour

Fair enough yeah. I think I hit 20 between 2003 and 2013 and they've never not come to Toronto and tend to do multiple shows. I'm good with what I've seen.

I've seen them 3 times. All 3 were without Richie. If he comes back (probably won't happen) I'll definitely go to a show. But since I have to travel to see them I probably won't make it next tour unless they play PR again (which with the schedule they kept from 2017-2019 I highly doubt will ever happen).

I think I'm content that Wembley was my last show. I always said I'd like to get to double figures, Wembley was my ninth, but everything 2020 has killed any enthusiasm I had left for Bon Jovi.

I’m the same. Wembley 19 was my last show. After a good run of shows since 1990.

If Liverpool had been my last show,Id probably go to see them the next tour, but, with Wembley also been decent (worst than Liverpool),Madrid show, that was my last show, was one of the worst shows of any artist Ive ever witness.
That night, going back to the hotel I decided it was the last one.
And as you said, its not only Jons voice.
The band does not sound well,it sounds weaker and you get the feeling you are seeing a cover band with Jon as a "singer".
Then,as Dominik mentioned, there are the setlist.
The same songs over and over again, tour after tour, and now, played slower and more boring.
It was a nice ride, one of the best moments of my life, but I think its the end of the trip.
I got lots of memories and Im thankfull for that, but seeing Jon destroying the bands legacy was too hard for me at the Madrid show.

I think for me, the shows are just a bonus now. I look forward to spending a good few days with a load of friends and people I've met from here. The last tour I got to meet Deb who was absolutely lovely, Thierry who was fantastic company and I've kept in touch with since and then met some people from my twitter page too.

I personally loved the shows I went too but that was also because of who I was with. We danced, drank, laughed etc.. the memories of the last tour are something I'll always remember. It was the best week I've had.

However, Jon is close to being finished. Vocally, we probably got the best of him for 4/5 years and it was still poor. At times he looked a great front man still. I don't think that will totally leave him.

I'll see them because no band gives me the buzz still. Even though I know it's not the band I love, it still is. If that makes sense?

Thank you Jay. You summed it up for me as well it's waaay more about the gathering for me than just the band and the evaluation of the merits of the set list, voice, etc.
