Tonight is the first concert in a long time that I can actually listen and enjoy what I hear. It's not perfect by any means, but Jon definitely improved. Let's hope he can hold it!

And I think the thing that bothers me the most (and which there's less of today) is when he's getting the timing wrong. I don't mind him butchering notes or his voice getting a bit darker and weaker, but draggin the lines in a different tempo just sucks. But today both his tone/energy and timing seems better!

Seems like he's singing the verse and not just each individual word...

Jon sounds weak on the BOB verse. He's hitting the chorus pretty OK, though.

Please, no. Jon would absolutely butcher it.

Overall it doesn't seem like his voice has really improved. It's still rough at best and he seems to have a permanent problem with his tone, even though he has definitely regained a bit of range since last year.

EDIT: Holy shit, did you hear that "yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeeeaaah"? Didn't sound too bad. His range has definitely grown.

Unfortunately, it seemed to take the gas out of Jon - IBTFY sounds quite patchy.

I agree. Was prepared for much worse. Thought it was decent. Those Woh ohs at the end sounded great as well!

I was joking of course but its the one song that no replacement singer on and make it ok.
