Why does it make sense to play some? Because the tour is named after the album? The record was released nearly 2 years ago and spawned no hits. All promo is done and there has been no effort to get this record off the ground apart from 2 promo shows and a bunch of instantly forgettable videos. Why should the band perform 4 songs from a record no one bought and really cared for?

Stronger how? You've just changed 2 overplayed songs for other overplayed songs. Out of your supposedly stronger set there's 2 songs that've not been played last tour and 1 which hasn't been done since 2003. How's your set stronger? You've taken out one overplayed song and replaced it with another overplayed song.

Id die for you
Runaway
In These Arms
Just older
Everyday
Last man standing

a better balance surely and songs that most will know that should be vocally ok.. ish..

Your list won't change much. Stop suggesting songs that have been played to death the last 30 years or songs that won't work live. Everyday has never worked and Last Man Standing drags when it's not the opening song. In These Arms is played way too slow and Runaway deserves a bit of a retirement after 30 years. I don't understand why it's so hard for both fans and this band to pick 10 songs out of a list of 250 songs that wouldn't bore an audience to death and haven't been played in the last 10 years either.

A two hour, 21 vanilla song show at a stadium of this size is absolutely pathetic.

rokenrola 12-01-2018 04:54 PM

Beside Springsteen and maybe couple of more, every band today and specially old bands play more or less same songs and have same setlist. They throw in couple of new songs from new album and everything else is thee same.
AC DC,Maiden,Metallica,Whitesnake,Aerosmith,Europe,Gn R,Van Halen,Deep Purple and others. Same is for new popular bands-Muse,Nickelback,Alter Bridge and others. So that is almost same with every band but here that is big problem.
Dont get me wrong,I dont defend them,I would love to hear some other songs but I think that is pretty much definite.
Europe will get other songs and different setlists for sure, maybe nothing spectacular but little different.

spot on, I only catch one Maiden show per tour and that is always enough, it's the energy that is lacking in the Bon Jovi show as much as the setlist.

I think also that songs like Everyday,Just older,Last man standing would be great to hear more often. Even songs like Undivided,Bounce Distance from Bounce record would be great. That's what the water made me with outro also should be on the setlist,Any other day with outro also,Thorn in my side from Circle, any song from TD album is challenge big time but with some of these songs you can get great setlist.

It's a problem because in every interview with any band member they brag that have have 70-90 songs rehearsed and that they change it up every show.
