No point in removing THINFS songs from setlist unless you want the tour to be "Greatest Hits" or "Nostalgia Band".

If I was Jon I would add some songs such as The Distance, Nobody's Hero, I'd Die For You to the set, longer set.
Somehow I would make the setlist be for BOTH casual and actual fans.

Just because you're playing new songs doesn't mean you're not a nostalgia band. They haven't had a hit single in over 10 years. Most people who see Bon Jovi live nowadays are going because of material released 20 years ago. Can you think of anyone who buys a ticket hoping they'll play song x from THINFS? Everyone on here who's bought a ticket has bought a ticket because they're hoping to hear a rare song and have some fun during the classics. That's nostalgia for you.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I was thinking about getting up early and catching this one live, but I'm glad I didn't. Possibly one of the worst setlists of the entire tour. How hard would it be for the band to play a setlist like this instead of the doldrums they've been giving us night after night? At least WGIGO seems to be gone for good.

01. This House
02. Knockout
03. Bad Name
04. Born to Be My Baby
05. Runaway
06. Radio Saved My Life Tonight
07. When We Were Us
08. Everyday
09. Who Says
10. In These Arms [David Vox, to give Jon a short break]
11. We Don't Run
12. Keep the Faith
13. Never Say Goodbye [Acoustic]
14. Bed of Roses
15. Lay Your Hands on Me
16. It's My Life
17. I'd Die For You
18. Bad Medicine
---------------------------------------
19. Blood on Blood
20. Living With the Ghost
21. I'll Be There For You
22. Wanted
23. Prayer

same length as Tokyo, nothing too hard to sing on the set, and a couple gems (Never Say Goodbye, I'd Die For You, Radio) for the diehards that even some casuals may know. And nothing from Lost Highway.

Personally, I don't now anybody who became a BJ fan because they heard WAN or THINFS. It's the older stuff that attracted me too. Whatever Jon's trying to say, Bon Jovi aren't relevant anymore. If their songs are played on the radio, it's one of the classics.

Even though Im not a fan of the setlist, atleast its quite different from each show. GN'R have the 99% exact setlist night after night for the past 2 years.

But does she know all that post 2000 stuff because of you or does she put that stuff on repeat as well? Just wondering as a casual is usually one who goes see the band because of the hits and not because of the following songs:

This House Is Not for Sale
Knockout
Whole Lot of Leavin'
Lost Highway
We Weren't Born to Follow
Roller Coaster
Who Says You Can't Go Home
God Bless This Mess
We Don't Run

There's just no need for this stuff. That's 9 songs out of a 21 setlist no one cares for.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I am not defending the set list, and yes she does only know the post 2000 stuff because i have it on in car etc

Not his finest performance, even for today’s standards. “Laboring through it” would be an understatement.

Please excuse me while I make up my mind about whether I should laugh or cry.

Doesn't the guy realize when it's time to quit? Is he really so much of a moron, or doesn't he simply give a shit anymore - as long as he gets the money, everything's fine?

However, the really bad news is that no one in the crowd seems to notice. That shit Jon's trying to sell up there has absolutely nothing to do with singing, let alone with singing on a professional level, yet the delusional people would most likely think the show is wonderful if he just stood on stage, shook his ass and smiled. (The sad fact is, numerous women probably would...)

Is this really what has become of the band we love?

I'm speechless.

Ouch.

Tico is great as usual, to highlight something positive :D

But moreover, why does he have to blatantly stare at his teleprompter for about every line?! On I'll Be There For You?!
