I had a good time, but I will never see them again unless Richie reunites. The crowd was so good I expected These Days at least. He was in reasonable voice though.

Just saying that although we might bitch about it the casual fan will probably like it.

See my previous post.....a lot don’t!
There’s nothing special for die hards.
Not one rare track or b-side.

But does she know all that post 2000 stuff because of you or does she put that stuff on repeat as well? Just wondering as a casual is usually one who goes see the band because of the hits and not because of the following songs:

This House Is Not for Sale
Knockout
Whole Lot of Leavin'
Lost Highway
We Weren't Born to Follow
Roller Coaster
Who Says You Can't Go Home
God Bless This Mess
We Don't Run

There's just no need for this stuff. That's 9 songs out of a 21 setlist no one cares for.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I agree about some of the songs but it makes sense to me to play some THINFS songs, but spread them more throughout the set.

Just pure laziness... no reason why these tracks couldn't replace some of those

Id die for you
Runaway
In These Arms
Just older
Everyday
Last man standing

a better balance surely and songs that most will know that should be vocally ok.. ish..

Christ, even I could sing Prayer much better than that... Jon really can't sing worth a f*ck anymore :(

symbeline 12-01-2018 02:40 PM

One positive thing, Jon is making life easy for us.

We just have to copy paste over and over again the previous 10,000 posts complaining about feasible things that could be improved to cater to everybody that were always done in stadium tours.

Somebody please create a default responses system here so we can choose from any of the multiple ones and save some energy.

Or maybe this is just a Groundhog Day situation and somebody needs to do something different that'll break the cycle.

symbeline 12-01-2018 02:49 PM

(recycling one of my usual responses)

To anybody expecting things to change in Europe: everybody here has been expecting changes, any kind of positive changes, from the beginning and that hasn't happened in two years. It's always been one step forward, two steps back.

Other than wishful thinking, do you honestly think that a light bulb will go off in Jon's head and things will go back to normal?

fairtex444 12-01-2018 03:09 PM

OMG...to me, this is really really bad. Horrible performance, even more horrible stage. I am not going to see them in Europe next summer. Sadly it's time to part ways with once my favourite band
