To be honest, it's got JBJ moving around for the whole song and gets the crowd going a bit.

I think he's definitely had a few glasses of something before the show tonight. Seems a lot more relaxed, and that has made for a far more enjoyable show so far. Being relaxed, moving around definitely improves his vocals, even if it is from a very low base to a fraction better.

I was thinking the same thing. If he is tipsy I'd say that definitely helps his performance.

Not that I'm complaining...

I'd say Bad Medicine (without covers but a Shout teaser) next and then encore break.
If he is really in a mood, he might add a slow cover-free rendition of ISWID inbetween.

He actually sounds REALLY drunk during Crash with all those terrible timing issues...

That was my biggest pet peeve from the WAN tour. He has definitely improved on it this year, but falls back into it sometimes.

Yep, those issues are more noticeable than the actual quality of the voice. But the timing does seem to improve when he isn't clinging onto the mic stand for dear life

Bad Medicine now, with Jon hitting the high note on the first chorus pretty nicely :D

But the verses... geez, I don't think anyone can even tell which key he's trying to sing them in.

Judging by the "oh yeah" parts at the end of Captain Crash, he definitely had a few shots before the show. Good for him, now just find the right amount of alcohol to relax and still get the timing right.
He might consult an old friend and guitar player about that :mrgreen:

For all the things he has been saying O_O, I do think he is a little drunk...

Haha the way Phil just looked over to the side like "is Jon still on stage?" because he wasn't singing one line of the reprise :D

After all the complaining about the dullness of the first half of these past sets, this was definitely the most energetic one in a while, moving around way more, barely any mic stand action compared to recently, etc.

Jesus Christ, Jon's energy on Medicine is sky high!

Still sounding like shit, but it's great to see him act like a proper frontman again, even if it's only every now and then.

Let's all hope for a decent encore now... :D

Maybe he knows he's only got 1 more show til freeeedom.

I hoped they'd end it with Shout but I think it'll never return to the set.

I'd reckon either In These Arms or I'll Be There For You in the encore, together with Blood On Blood, Wanted and Prayer.
Since he's drunk, maybe I Love This Town...
