What on Earth does his vocal coach work with? What voice is left? It doesn’t even sound like Jon anymore. He sounds like a prepubescent boy.

Actually (as always tbh), I was expecing worse than what I've heard on that video. At times, it was a real improvement, and yes, at times it was plain painful, but it is what it is, bashing won't change it. Still looking forward to the gig though!

Jon is starting to sound as bad as Paul Stanley... well, not really (I don't think that's even possible, considering how well and truly f***ed Paul's voice is), but there's not much left of JBJ's pipes either, indeed.

Yeah, it was "an improvement" in the case that Jon could actually somewhat touch the right key even on the higher notes. That said, his tone was still absolutely shocking and the cracks, clipped phrasing and breathing problems were still there, so no, he still doesn't sound even close to decent and for the most part he sounds like the average drunken guy at karaoke.

True (to some extent), but what's bitching about it gonna change? You either bought tickets for a concert this tour or you didn't. If you did, you'll be pleased that there is a (slight) improvement, if you didn't, then it won't bother you anyway ;-)

Isn’t this a message board? Were people offer opinions?

It’s quite easy to have bought tickets AND say how awful Jon sounds.

It’s not as black and white as just saying if you haven’t bought a ticket, why does it bother you how terrible Jon sounds. That’s silly.

People go to shows for more than just Jon’s voice. But it is still a big part of the show. If you or others are happy or content, great. Each to their own.

Fair enough. But still, the bitching is too much at times. I know one can get in the mood easily, but sometimes it's just too much for my taste ;-)

Holy moly that soundcheck is bad. Anyone that says otherwise is a down right liar.

I feel sorry for Jon, but why oh why does he continue to try sing songs like he could 20 years ago?

I'd like to know the answer to this as well. I watched one of the tour diary videos from the US leg and a vocal coach was on there.

What on earth does she do?

Any idea about whether/where live streams will be available?
