The Official June 2 Tallinna Lauluväljak, Tallinn, Estonia Thread

Setlists, Predictions, Videos, Disappointments, Complaints...

This is the first time Bon Jovi have ever played in Estonia, so I have no previous setlist to post here.

Hopefully Jon's voice will at least be as decent as it was in Moscow.

03. You Give Love a Bad Name
04. Born to Be My Baby
05. Whole Lot of Leavin'
06. Lost Highway
07. Runaway
08. We Weren't Born to Follow
09. Have a Nice Day
10. Keep the Faith
11. Amen
12. Bed of Roses
13. It's My Life
14. We Don't Run

james_d 05-31-2019 11:31 PM

I imagine we'll get a similar show to Moscow with a couple of changes but nothing major

BJFan99 05-31-2019 11:35 PM

I'm going! Hoping for These Days (just without the crack, please...) and Always (no matter how badly Jon butchers it). Saturday Night and/or Blood On Blood would be the icing on the cake, especially the former for reasons mentioned before.

I hope you have a great time there! Will you be streaming by any chance?

No, I'm simply going to enjoy the show (for what it's worth) without even thinking about anything else :D

DryCounty 06-01-2019 12:40 PM

Most likely a standard set list. If I'm not mistaken it's the first time in Estland which probably will make Jon go for a safe set. But I'm sure it will be a great show. Getting really hyped for Stockholm on the 5th!

DavetheGodofKeys 06-01-2019 02:21 PM

I think the set will be almost like in Moscow. Maybe some change in the encore. I'm thinking that Jon will pull out some surprises in the more major shows of the tour ( UK) and I'm hoping Bucharest as well because I'll be going.

WhamATC 06-01-2019 02:38 PM

How do you think the setlist in Stockholm will be like?

Maybe like in Moscow and Tallinn probably. I expect that they'll maybe shake it up a bit when they go to Germany maybe

I get the feeling Tallinn will show us if there's going to be any real changes outside of the major shows. If it's like Moscow then most will be like Moscow etc

I have a feeling Stockholm will be the first big test what Jon have in mind in terms of suprises. Moscow got its first visit after 30 years and Tallin gets its first show ever so can't really expect them to pull out any cool suprises there.
But Stockholm have been visited several times, even on the latest Europe run so no need to play a standard set there. But I have my doubts as Sweden really isn't a big BJ market. But it will be interesting to see what they have in mind!

Support acts start around that time, Bon Jovi (almost always) gets on stage between 8:15/8:30 local time ;)

Actually for Tallinn it's 4:30PM GMT and 12:30PM New Jersey. Estonia is an hour earlier than Moscow.

I absolutely agree: Like with their Asian mini-tour, where they played countries and cities they'd last been between zero and two decades ago, good audience reception was pretty much guaranteed from Moscow, and the Estonia gig has historical significance built in. But once they hit Stockholm, the musical question will be "Has Jon officially replaced Shanks as the weakest link in his own chain?" Only the ticket sale revenues will know for sure!

BJFan99 06-02-2019 02:54 PM

Right now I’m sitting at the ship terminal (still in Helsinki, btw) waiting for my company to return from the ticket desk. Have a great day/night, everyone - see you tomorrow!

I've not been able to find the setlist anywhere, has anyone had any luck?

I know but it was published before the show by the promoter yesterday

james_d 06-02-2019 09:37 PM

I think the show has just started, I can't yet find a stream

Aloha !

20 years of setlists on Jovitalk and people still have no idea what source to believe.
It's already been corrected by the same person who added Bounce. Whenever you're adding a song on a setlist you get autosuggestions. You go from Bo... to Bounce easily.

On the other hand. She Don't Know Me was just played. It's on setlistfm.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

People who actually believe the stuff on setlist.fm should really reconsider their life choices

Everyone's favourite song has now come on

BJfan99 will hopefully confirm whether or not Bounce was actually performed after the show. I also have my doubts after seeing this stream.

Picking up a fake PBP from setlist.fm and demanding others find a stream for you. Unreal.

This is the song which I'm desperate to hear at every gig.

james_d 06-02-2019 10:00 PM

I'm not surprised the connection on the stream is bad I can't see Estonia having the best 4G...

It was a false alarm, and I freaked out a little. No need to get hostile.
