I think, being that Jon is a Beatles fan, they may throw a Beatles song into the set.

I think the folk of Liverpool may also spot him around the city too the day before. He is a massive fan of the Beatles and I wouldn't be surprised if he did a secret gig in the Cavern tomorrow night

I'm buzzing for this. I'm driving down from Glasgow and straight back up the road afterwards. And I'm in GC for just the second time so should get a decent spot.

What do people reckon the odds of bumping into a member of the band are? Any tales on social media of people running into them on the streets of European cities?

Slim but possible....

Shanks walked round Dublin didn't he?

Phil X did a lot of sightseeing in 2013 when he was on tour in Europe for the first time. I imagine the chances of bumping into him and Shanks aren't too slim, with the others you'd have to be really lucky.
Even though there always are the stories of Jon suddently standing beside some other fans at the pedestrian lights in Dublin or others running into Tico at launch in a little restaurant in London.

I'm hoping if there are any Beatles songs in the set, they'll go for either Let it be or Hey Jude because I think they are good to sing along to. As for BJ songs, I'd like to hear (but not expecting at all) My guitar lies bleeding and Blame it on the love of Rock n Roll.

A quick question for LFC fans: Is the Champions League trophy on display in the museum?

Phil X and John Shanks were all over the Temple Bar in Dublin. They’ve also visited multiple guitar shops.

Its on display at the ground I think. You can have a photo with it.

Argh damnit, this comment has got into my head. Meant to be coming down from Glasgow on Wednesday morning but I'm tempted to change my train to Tuesday morning and hang about at the cavern just in case!

Excellent. It was in my place of work earlier this year on a tour but I missed it because I was laid up with gout. I was gutted to have missed it but now I can remedy that.

With a little help from my friends is very possible - they've played that song many times before. Help is another one they used to play.

We'll see. I can definitely see this happening.

Both very unlikely though. Jon would probably drop dead at the high notes in With A Little Help which sounded flat out boring even in 2008.
And Help wasn't played since Alec's departure and for a good reason. That song lived from the band's outstanding harmonies - especially Richie, Jon and Alec.

Did they ever do The Beatles version of With a Little Help or was it always Cocker's arrangement? I think that's the only one I've heard them do.

(And, no, this line-up doesn't have the vocal blend to carry off any of those close harmonies, imo. But if Bobby and the KOS were with them, they could possibly pull off Sgt. Pepper.) :p:)

They've done here comes the sun a few times, that might work!

Good friend Paul McCartney to join them on stage or is that me dreaming?!

Bring it on!

I think the band are very likely going to be staying at The Hard Days Night Hotel.

Can imagine Jon wanting to stay here:

Looking at John Shanks Instagram it looks like they have decided to stay in Dublin an extra night.

That's you dreaming. He could be watching from the side of the stage and he'd not join them. McCartney rarely ever does guest performances. Him joining Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel has been pretty much it for the last 40 years, I think.

Salaam Aleikum,

Yeah, they've arrived. Jon posted a bird's view of Anfield on his Instagram story.

I'd love seeing Bon Jovi paying tribute once again to Clarence Clemons by playing Tenth Avenue Freeze Out
