Dry county will be an unplayed audible tonight.

I've just checked in at the hotel, will leave for the stadium in a few minutes.
Hoping for a decent setlist (not that I really believe in this) and a better crowd than Wembley. |

Me neither, pretty disappointing. Hopefully we'll get something else in Warsaw on Friday

Why play a stadium if you’re only playing 20 songs?

Here we got the consequences of the disaster the Madrid show was.
Jon suffered a lot in Amen.He began late to sing it and the band had to stop the song and begin again. Then he entered to the verse early and the band saved the song. In bed of roses he was almost dying to sing the song so he didnt walk through the catwalk and didnt dance with a girl, only gluedto the mic. So today,no Amen,no Roses. If he dont recover his voice to the preMadrid level, I dont know if he will be able to finish the tour |

Maybe wait until people at the show comment before we confirm the band are over (for the 3rd time this tour) and see what they thought? |
Not. Worth. Anymore.
2 hours 5 min show. For the first time ever I was bored during a Bon Jovi show. Could call every song, every banter, every move from Jon. There was a coreography during Follow and Wanted organized by the italian fans (the US flag, reminiscing of the Udine 2011 show); Jon acknowledged it but that's it, it didn't change anything in him. He skipped many song choruses and overall didnt interact that much. No Amen, no Bed of Roses, no Blood on Blood. Roller Coaster was played. If you're interested in the full shitty setlist is up on setlist.fm. |

It’s becoming very clear that Jon’s voice can’t handle any more tours. He “peaks” at one or two shows, only to go downhill afterwards. That’s sad.
|
I said it the other day but Jon 'peaked' during the UK shows. Something changed in him and it made the shows enjoyable and most reviews were good. I'm seeing more negative ones from the later European shows than the early.
Set lists are predictable and are getting shorter and shorter. I said that I didn't want to judge videos anymore from YouTube or Instagram etc because JBJ did sound good at the shows I went too but it was like he has gone backwards again listening to some last night. I'd even say he's not moving as much now as he did in UK too. Imagine they done a proper tour. Regular shows etc... They'd have all been postponed within a few weeks. Damn, the setlist is even more vanilla the Munich one. Looks like Jon peaked for a few shows, and that's it.

True that. They hit rock bottom with this one and if Jon intends to give us the same set in Romania, he may bother to come but he'll leave thousands of fans disappointed. |

So... anybody surprised?

I saw some videos and I’m far from impressed. The band sounds great as they always do but they have a singer that isn’t able to sing in tune anymore. It’s a train wreck. JBJ is killing his legacy right now.

I also think that the band sounds great.

I'm not a fan of Shanks at all. I don't think he's been good for the band as a producer at all BUT I wasn't that bothered by him at the shows. What's bad about these shows is the set lists and how it seems like Jon's vocals have taken a dive again. A lot of people were saying the break after Coventry would be good for him but I think he had momentum and was singing better than he has for a couple of years. It's like we've gone back to 2017 again lately and it's a shame because I had hope that we was 'slowly' seeing some aspects of Jon/the band back. I didn't even follow last night's show and I usually do updates on twitter but it's pointless. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk |
Was Dry County an audible? Man I fear for this tour if it's not there.

I don't think the break killed momentum, I think he overdid it in Düsseldorf and Munich, because it went steeply downhill after/during those two shows. Düsseldorf was almost stellar judging by the last 3 years, Munich was ok, and in Madrid, it started to get worse...

This is great
This is good, not great: Shanks did not bother me in Munich but in Wembley. I turned around and we were all like: WHAT is he doing? The band was way better in Wembley but you cannot say that this band is great compared to the standards they achieved in the past |
