Jon's best post-2k vocal year
I'd say 2008. From roughly the Australian leg of the LH tour onwards Jon was nailing - with very few exceptions - everything. He was very consistent and still had some of his old tone left, which was replaced by a considerably more nasal (though still brilliant) voice in 2010-11.

Not sure why this is in the New Release sub-section. Moving this to General BJ discussion.

Haha no worries! Just a few quick clicks.
To me 2011 was his top spot with 2008 in second place. |
The O2 run 2010.
Then 2008 (more consistently, but kinda lost it on the last leg a bit) By 2011, especially in Europe, he was already straining a lot more. Of course still great in comparison to what was to come after. |
Sydney 2010.

Yeah thought Jon was good on the O2 run. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
Would it be cheating to include 2001 in this? I would've thought this was probably the best one when watching shows like Cologne etc.

2008-2011. Probably cheating saying that but I still think some performances in 2011 were absolutely superb. Jeez threads like this make me depressed (not having a go, Ville haha) - It just makes me think of how much of a decline Jon's had.
2010 O2 was a very good run. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk |
Don't really know why but i always liked more 2003-2008 performances than 2010, them always seemed more raw but "sincere" to me, even though it's obvious 2010 was his best year vocally since 95.
