I think 2022 would be a good time to release a new album. I'm sure Jon needs to go on tour, many workers depend on this, he had a tour planned in 2020-2021, but then the pandemic came and stopped everything. The 2020 album will no longer be attractive enough to stoke the fire, so they would need another new album. John Shanks hinted at this at christmas , I think it was on a podcast. So the tour that was finally canceled, will have to come back in 2022, and for this to work they need a new album to make current, and increase the interest of the fans and the general public.

We don't know if it's something for the vaults or a new album, but it seems more the latter, since Billy Falcon and J. Shanks "seem involved" in the composition and writing process, recording..? I don't know.
