Well, Jon said there would be a box set on the next anniversary and he would launch (pobably) into The Experience, so I guess this is going to continue. They will launch some candy the last subscription month, maybe some unpublished demo, maybe Halo?, and then will promise as usual, that the year 2022 will be surprising, with great content from the vaults blah blah blah, but then it will be same (nothing worthwhile ), like what has been released in 2021.

When Bon Jovi are on tour, they will not care at all about this Experience, but they will have many fans caught on the hook for a whole year, and in 2023 (or 2024 if there plan to release a new album before), it will be the year they will launch the box set. Hopefully some Bonus songs for members who are subscribed to this scam.

I think I agree. For this price and access to good tickets it's a slam dunk deal. Take away the tickets and it's Etsy.

If they're not legally able or not willing to pay royalties then the unreleased songs never should have been mentioned and just given out as surprises along the way instead of being a focal point of the marketing.

I still don't think a new box set will sell, given that if they have to pay to put them online you can bet your ass those costs will be higher if they release it with a cost attached. Who knows though. If they couldn't get their shit together enough to win back the diehards with this, my hopes have never been lower they can do it well enough for a released thing.

Was literally looking on Etsy this afternoon at Bon Jovi stuff and some of the tat I saw reminded me of the junk given away as part of the experience.

Even the Jerry's of the world must see beyond the cheap and tacky nature of it after they've pretended to like it on social media? Surely?

But the access to good tickets has always been a myth. The fanclub have never, ever been able to provide the best tickets to the shows. It's just early access to a select group of tickets and the second best seats. And even those were only available in a limited quantity. The fanclub has always been about making as much money for as little effort as possible so I've no idea why people are so surprised this is just another scam.

People got their hopes up for some reason and I cannot figure out why. You can't spend years going after Jon for his behaviour and then plunk down $200 and think "oh we're going to get Cadillac Man", right? The fanbase does not care about our type of fan. They just celebrated 35 years of Slippery with a remastered video of Wild in the Streets, they're so cheap it hurts.

That was so embarrassing...

It's better but it's still shit. Way too many photos of Jon. I know it's the JBJ experience but there's no need for four different photos.

The photo of Jon in the latest box sums it up for me. Not a photo of him on stage, but instead holding a glass of wine in a photo you can frame and pretend he is your husbund.

Not even drinking anything, but if I was, it'd be all over my screen right now.

Do we really need more photos of middle aged Jon holding a wine glass.
All these boxes are a promo for his cooking sauces and Hamptons.

No one bit of the thing that got everyone into the band……music.
